A very unique experience - Portal is a winner!

(Spoilers in this review, read with caution)

Portal is just an outstanding game. It offers clever writing, great gameplay, and a funny, though disturbing [in a good way] sense of humor.

I didn't expect the story to be great, but it wasn't bad. Due to clever writing, and great voice acting, Portal's main quest is really an enjoyment. Despite the fact that its short, really short, Portal is a great experience.

The game starts you off in a small room, and moments afterwards, you are then being instructed by a Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System. Also known as "GLaDOS". GLaDOS takes you through some tests and in no time you get the protal device. This is what makes portal unique. I pretty sure you know how the portal device works, so I'm not going to waste time explaining it. But as the story unfolds, GLaDOS informs you that after the tests you will be "missed" - which isn't a good thing. This is when GLaDOS really shines as a villian. Her great sense of dark humor just makes her one of the most memorable villians/characters in any game. Ever. You'll have a great time playing Portal.

In this version of portal, there are also extra challenge levels. Which adds some replaying value.

Thanks for reading my review.

P.S. - The cake is a lie! .. or is it >:)
