This game makes me want to punch nameless henchmen, in a good way.

User Rating: 8.8 | P.O.W.: Prisoners of War NES
This game is a great NES title for a few reasons. One, the action starts right away when your awesome hero, blows his way out of his prison cell and then proceeds to kick the crap out of about a million nameless henchmen of a non-distinct nationality. Two, there are a lot of weapons to use, from knives, to guns (including using your gun as a club) to grenades. Three, the music is decent enough and the graphics are actually very good for an NES game. Some drawbacks to the game are the icons that you pick up don't always make it apparent as to what they are enhancing for your character. Another thing is that after you have the brass knuckles and the body armor the game becomes much much easier as bullets now bounce off of you, but the drawback to this is, if you are killed while fighting a tough boss, then you pretty much are done for. The reason is for this is because once your body armor is gone, bullets just kill you dead in one shot (obviously) so you're done. Other then that the game is great, and like a lot of NES games, its really hard, but rewarding. If you are lucky enough to find this game, buy it. It brings a tear to my eye to see the nameless P.O.W escape in the end. Also the death sound is really annoying, so sound is kinda busted.
