Games like Powder, are helping to keep my very pessimistic personality afloat. I found this game after watching a let's play on YouTube. At first glace this game seems to be a dungeon runner with 8bit graphics. Though this is sort of true once you delve into the game-play you find it's not only very deep, but at times absolutely hilarious. Jeff Lait has created one of the most frustrating, addictive, and amazing games I've played in the last few years. This is the only game where I have died in the tutorial level, now I know that sounds like a turn off but the way this game is made it just isn't. Every time you die, frustrating though it is the urge to rage quit is immediately out weighed by the need to play again. This game is 100% free to download and will keep you entertained for hours Powder is a must play game for any serous gamer. I encourage casual gamer's to give it a try although an intuitive grasp of gaming is helpful for understanding complex game-play. I wanted to give this game a perfect score, but my feelings are second to facts, and the facts are that although this game is a great deal of fun, there are a few road blocks (difficulty, learning curve, lack of audio) that keep it from meriting a perfect score.
