While the initial graphics looks reasonable, you soon notice that other than water and some boats, everything looks like Nintendo 64 graphics. The scenery is generic and looks rather terrible from any distance. If that wasn't insult to injury, The video is choppy at best regardless of what you put the settings on.
There is really no story what-so-ever and the exciting racing turns to be a rather tedious event especially in the beginnings. The races are much like Mario Kart 64 (Nintendo 64 again) and the 80's music doesn't help the situation. While the game has an open environment it is a small area with little to do. You can give people taxi rides for a fare that has a short destination and with no real animation.
I wouldn't associate with this game if it were free. I've seen better Java games on the internet. I only wrote this review to warn others in case they see it at a thrift store as I am sure that's where it's going. This game was clearly done in someone's free time and was not meant to be sold.

Run away while you still can. If it gets to close to you, burn it!
