Innovative? You bet! Great Graphics, Great Sound, Great Fun...Damn, this is a good Game!!!

To be honest with you when I first heard about Prince of PErsia the Sands of Time, I thought that it looked rather stupid...BOY WAS I WRONG! I really only got this game because I saw that Warrior Within was coming out, and I figured I'd get a taste for the "Series" before I ran out and bought a $50 game I knew nothing about. What a well spent $20 it has been. You might be asking yourself, "Why did he put innovative", well here it is: This game is one of the First games to meld Action with Adventure...Successfully, mind you. And it's one of the only games that I can see where you could go for 20-30 Minutes without killing something and still be happy with it. This game HAS set the platforming standard and still a year after it's release it is one of the best PS2 games out there. This game is really worth a good long look if you haven't already. The game is set in, well, Persia and you're in a temple that is (for lack of a better word) Zombified. You have to undo what you did and turn everyone back normal. Pretty Straight forward, but loads of fun. As I said Early this is one of those games where you won't find an enemy around every corner...instead you'll find a puzzle or ledge, it's insane. The story is set in a somewhat "storybook" world and it's told in the prince's perspective. The whole game is like him telling you an elaborate story about his adventure in a palace. This game is truely a game for the Ages and anyone who has not tried it yet Should. It's great fun and just an all arround addictive game. Kudos to Ubi for a great game. P.S- Try out Warrior Within...it's insane, and more for the action buff. 2 swords at once + 1 pissed off Prince +insane acrobatics and wall-running = 1 beastly game. Good luck and start playing. THIS IS A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SERIES.
