An intuitive system, great graphics with smart puzzles allow for a highly entertaining albeit short experience.

This is one of the best action puzzle games to hit the xbox. The reason I call this game a puzzle game is due to the fact that combat is not fleshed out and the main portion of the game is trying to get from one portion of the room to the next. The prince is dexterious and acrobatic and all of his skills as well the player using intuitive and easy to control mechanics. The basic premise as stated earlier is that the player must find a way to move from one portion of the environment to the next. The combat is not fleshed out turning button mashy and the fact that the sands of time dagger is a good way to quick save is a great thing for the console version.

The graphics are beautiful as well as the sound from the echoing of the halls or the orchestra resonating throughout the gameplay this is a top notch production. Another coveat is the fact that there isn't much to go back and replay the game since the puzzles must be completed a certain way. The only good thing to go back to is to unlock the original prince of persia games. Otherwise, while the journey is short, sweet and beautiful, this is a nice rental as one can complete the game in about ten hours. This is a great game to own if you love the game's graphics and story but I doubt you will play this game again. Multiplayer does not exist for this title but anyone watching a person play is bound to enjoy the scenery and sound.
