Prince Of Persia: The Sands of Time Review by Wazko
i liked the characters and the storyline. the missions were all somewhat different and had different objectives. sometimes you had to reach a desination and sometimes you had to protect a certain person.
i think the traps and puzzles you had to solve there were one of a kind and fun to play.
I especially liked the new feature of messing with time so that you are able to achieve your goals or make gaming easier. But be careful because you can only use them up to 3 times (in which recharging is to kill some opponents). You can slow down, reverse time (useful if you die)...etc. slowing down time was useful to reach a certain destination when you did not have enough time.
The beginning threw you right in the heart of a battlefield and you have to work your way through the level. you must defeat bunches of enemies, make the most of your abilities, and at the same time learn all of the controls to perform acrobatic moves.
i believe one of the reasons that made this game so great was the athleticism of the prince. he can scale walls by running to them, jump off the walls and catch a hanging ladder above a pit of spikes but still make it believable.
it was definitely a good experience and one of the best remakes ever. it was a revolutionary game that set the bar of how good games played and i think future game developers will think back at this and say "we want to make a game that played just like that!"i think its a must-try for all kinds of gamers out there who fancy the adventure genre.
