I remember playing the first Prince Of Persia game on my old PC about 15 years ago. Already back then, Prince Of Persia stunned me. It was the first time in game history that the main character had real-life movements. It's good to see that the PS II series kept that edge. I only played 'Warrior within' and 'The two thrones'. This review is for the both of them. What's most striking is the fighting moves. The first time you read through the different combo's, you're like... no way i'm going to be able to execute all of them. But after a (short) while you're getting into these magnificent fights where you kill each and every enemy with great, ballet-like fighting moves. The game is very lengthy, so you get your money's worth. The graphics, backgrounds and environments are amazing. Great colour and eye for detail. The puzzles are a welcome change to the fighting. After having played 'Warrior within' i'm now finishing 'The two thrones'. It's got the same artistic level as 'Warrior within' and some additions like: The dark prince (with new moves and weapons). That's about the only negative point i'll add in my review. The dark prince is actually the 'bad' alter ego of the Prince. It makes you trun into this dark creature that has a big chain as it's primary weapon. The problem is that the dark prince's health (sand) degrades. This means you have to search for enemies that will provide you with more sand and quickly move around against time. I prefer to take my time and kill my enemies with nices moves instead of having to slash them as quick as possible, but that's personal opinion. That's why i rate 'Warrior within' (9.1) higher than 'The Two thrones' (8.5)
