The prince is back in all his wall-walking greatness.

User Rating: 8.9 | Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones GC
While returning home from his great adventure in the past game from the series 'Warrior Within', the prince comes back to his now destroyed home with his newfound wife. The story line can now be quite confusing if you've yet to play the prince's past adventures yet you'll find great fun in the game anyways.

You'll be able to choose the difficulty right from the start and let the game begin with one of its gorgeous cut scenes. When you finally start to play, you'll be glad to see the great mind work involved in the game right away. You'll be thought the easy to learn controls to guide your nameless protagonist and jump from ledge to ledge.

Once you get a hold of a knife, you'll notice the new killing option for the game. Of course, this optional, you'll be able to charge into your enemy with the normal battle mechanics of the previous games if you wish but you'll also find the quick kill technique very useful. As you approach an enemy unseen, the screen will ask to press why if you wish to begin, once you do, it will show the prince doing one of his famous fancy moves on the enemy and all at the same time, you must use a specific button one the blade flashes. If your timing is correct, the enemy will die, if not, it will return to a normal battle.

Another one of the new additions to the series is the Dark Prince. Your evil self feeds off others, where in this form, you'll lose health if you don't kill an enemy to gain sands of time-- which replenish your health meter. Also, don't be expecting to use the usual dagger and any weapon you managed to pick up but instead a chain, which you can easily whip around and damage your foes.

The graphics are astounding like in any Prince of Persia games. You'll just love the well made cut scenes and great looking backgrounds. Kudos, Ubi Soft Montreal!

So, if you like using your head and fighting some great enjoyable battles, or just like any other game in the series you'll love the Two Thrones. With Sands of Time's great puzzles plus Warrior Within's great combat system, easily makes this game a great buy and worth every penny you spend on it. Of course, you might want ot keep it away from small children.

Long live the prince. :D
