Unbelievable enviromental puzzles and bloody kills are filled in this game.
You are the Prince who tries to get back his kingdom after it is taken away from him by an adversary that gamers from the previous prequels will recognize. To do this, you have to use all of your acrobatic skills and fighting combos to get to that point.
The enviromental puzzles in this game are absolutely amazing. They are unlike any other game before. You can run across walls and run up them and jump off like a ninja. You must also jump from wall to wall to get to a ledge at the top of place also. New to this addition is the ability to stick your weapon in these dagger holes and stay there. Also, you can jump diagonally from wall to wall while wall running through use of an open springy window. You'll be in awe of the kinds of acrobatics you can do in this game.
The combat is also excellent as well. Regular combat is all right where you can use a few combos and block attacks and counter. But, the best fighting addition to this game is the possibility of using Speed Kills, basically a stealthy kill. The screen blurs a bit on the edges, letting you know that you can press the appropriate button to start the speed kill process. Then, your dagger will flash for a split second a few times which cues you to press a certain button to kill the enemy from above or behind him. These are where the game gets really bloody and violent. When speed killing a person, you might end up ripping their head off after tripping them or stabbing them in the back or in the eye or even ripping one of their wings off. Speed Kills require good timing and rhythm and aren't too too hard to pull off. Though, you will have to use Speed Kills to get past most of the bosses. It's not that big of a deal though because these kills are really violent and fun to pull off.
Another great addition that is unique to the Sands of Time trilogy is the ability to rewind time prevent yourself from going off that jump and falling to your death. This is where the game is nicely forgiving you for trying to get past a puzzle by yourself without having to use a strategy guide to be careful. There are also other sand powers that you unlock as you play through the game.
Also, the ESRB rating says that there is nudity in this game. There actually is, but its VERY miniscule for those who are getting discouraged to buy this game because it has nudity. There is only one type of enemy that is half nude and its very unnoticable, so there's really nothing to worry about in that part.
So, in short, this game is easily reccomended to anyone who is old enough. It will definetely be a breath-taking game experience that will be thoroughly enjoyable.
