This game has an amazing combat system, but what it doesn't have is the charm and mystical atmosphere of the first game.

As other have said before: it's a great game, but the only (glaring) problem is that they sacrificed the story-book magic that made the first game such a hit. The good news is that they added in an extensive and highly customizable combat system, which makes the game a great sequel in it's own right. The difficulty level seemed a bit higher at points than the first game, so, if you're like me, you'll probably enjoy the challenge. Bottom line: If you liked the first game at all, I feel that you'll really enjoy this sequel, just don't expect the same kind of atmosphere that you found so engrossing in the first game to make an appearance.
