I really enjoyed playing the game. Initially its not much fun, but after the tutorials and as the story progresses it becomes much more playable. The cinematics are great and i particularly liked the 'sand wraith' character. Since i haven't played 'sands of time' i cant compare but this is certainly a satisfying game. The sound is rather irritating, esp, when the music goes on even after the fight is complete and there is lack of innovation in the boss fights, but nonetheless the gameplay is excellent and the free-form fighting style is superb. It is this game that has inspired me to buy the complete series.
