Great for the price, but the sound issues suck!

I can't say that I dislike this game, otherwise I would be lying to you. Of course, I am not going to be redundant and tell you why all of the sound issues are the main downplay of the game, however, they do bug me a lot, and when I go to play the game, it seems as though it gets to me more than I let on. This game has a lot of strong points however. Near PS2 graphic quality is achieved on this port of the Playstation 2's Warrior Within. That is not to say that it's a direct port, because they dropped a couple of levels in addition for new content, and many of the maps had to be reworked. The controls are actually spot on for this game, and they fit the psp well, despite the lack of a second analog stick. The time powers are very well translated onto this game, as well as all of the enemy sound bytes, and all of the CGs look fantastic. Nothing is lacking in this game other than a few music issues. The lip syncing is also off from the script, as if the game gained a little delay in lip motion. It's unfortunate, because when in the game it kind of bugs me to hear the prince say something, and have his mouth move five seconds later. It's a great game if you are looking to take the prince along with you in your pocket, for a very great price, that retains almost all of the PS2 elements that made Warrior Within such a great game. Yes it is just as morbid as the PS2 version, and just as grimey, and the puzzles have that great feel to them that are trademark to the PoP series. Enjoy.
