A interesting adventure game but not quite special among it's genre.
GAMEPLAY 7/10: I would say the gameplay is fun for a while but gets repetitive. You do the same thing over and over to collect these balls of energy to unlock more stages and so on. While you collect these balls (i know hahaha) you hop off walls, climb, swing from bars which is fun for a while but like i said it gets repetitive. The fighting in this game is short and repetitive as well b/c when you cure a land from darkness the monster are gone. During each level there is at least one monster which are minions and low standard compared to the boss battles. During the fights with the bosses they are fantastic artistically. (read the graphic section to get it) While they are easy to beat b/c you can't die in this game it is still unique in it's own way.
PoP is a fun adventure game but has no replay value at all unless you are into collecting trophies which are pretty easy. Collecting trophies are easy b/c while you are playing you suddenly get a trophy without even trying to get it.
STORY 5/10: Now onto the story. Well..... it is basically a simple good vs evil or light vs darkness story. A princess or queen of protecting the seal of the bad guy, travels with the main character, a thief who gets caught in the middle of it, to seal back the sinister villain. The story is plain and simple which is incapable of pulling the gamers into the story, so it would make gamers play the game for a short amount of time.
Graphics 8/10: The graphics of prince of persia is just stunning with its ink art and beautiful color arts makes this game special. During the fighting you would see the swords clang against the monster and fantastic arts of the combos you are doing so it just overtakes the gameplay itself. The fighting itself is sub par compared to it's artistic beauty while fighting. Some stuff including the levels of the game are colorful and fantastic but bland in the other. To break it down some levels aren't unique as the others.
Overall this game is worth a RENTAL and beautiful in it's own way but not worth while. If you are looking for a game with good action adventure just give this game a try and you must end up liking it more than myself.
