Exceptionally compulsive game but fall short of a classic due to repetition.
Graphics are the strong points of this game. Visuals are so stunning that sometimes you just stand there and enjoy the background. Cut-scenes are not that well carved out though. One or two CGI movies might have done the trick. Character graphics are sometimes grainy.
Game play and controls are excellent. Controls are very sensitive and responsive. Prince can move from one fertile ground to another without stopping for a second provided you know the route. Not to mention overcoming the obstacles like flag poles and beams during the course of the run.
Soundtrack is outstanding overall but is marvelous at some stages. Most notables are construction yard, the observatory, tower of Ahriman, sun temple.Soundtrack of boss fights are just good.
Repetition is the only down side of this game. There are few boss characters in this game and one has to fight them 5-6 times to beat them. I mean one can fight completely new characters with different strength and weaknesses instead of fighting same boss characters repetitively. On top of that one has to find light seeds at the end of each boss battle to progress. Same boss characters same light seeds.
Overall outstanding game and recommended to everyone.
