Could be worse

Most of the reviews I've read are filled with complaints of not being able to control what's happening in your prison. And it should be like The Sims, where everything is under your control. Well, this game is more like Sim City, with a bit of more control. Most of you have forgotten that in Sim City, you built the town but had no control over anything else. You could name the individual people but you couldn't make them live in what house or go to the movies. And that's the same concept of Prison Tycoon. Except you could get your guards, therapists and priests to do their duties when you want them to. I think Prison Tycoon is a decent game and could be a lot of fun, if it wasn't so slow. I have my game speed on the fastest setting, and that's still too slow for my taste when you don't have much to do but maintainance. Also, it's a memory hog. It uses my processor to it's limit and forget about running other programs while playing. Laggage 101. Another annoyance is you cant undo. And if you accidently put your building in the wrong place, you could only demolish it but not get your money back. You're kind of forced to use the money cheat unless you want your inmates to be unhappy. It's a decent game with a lot of faults. But if you have nothing else to do and bored out of your mind..it'll kill an hour of your time.
