PCM 06 follows in the footsteps of its big brothers and fails to jump out of the gates.
If your a fan of cycling and have not played any of this games previous versions this is a must buy. When you first start up you might be a little over-whelmed with how difficult this game can be but after a few hours and a little while on the message boards you can start winning races like a pro.
The graphics in this verision have not changed much from last years game but they are of standard level for a sports game, nothing flashy but it get by. Where this game excels is the managing aspects though.
Managing your own squad can be very indepth, from signing to scouting to making sure certain riders are ready for certains races, along with developing the youth of your squad for later can all be very instese. Expect to fail fail and fail again before you get the hang of this game though.
The races are all represented from around the world and with new addition of national races for being the champion of France or America you can now support your rider to becoming the best in his own nation adding a whole new element of pride to your team.
With all the customization of anything in this game and the pure fun of managing your own squad it well out weighs the time you'll spend downloading patches for this game.
If you dont want to have to hassel with many patches the games are usually done being patched around november or december, but even if you dont patch this game is fun with any version of a patched game.
