Who knew a game where you solve puzzles could be so good!
The story is probably one of the best for a game that I've played in a long time! You play as both Professor Layton and his sidekick Luke who come to the "curious village" at the beginning of the game, where it takes place. There are many secrets you learn about the village and there are several twists that keep you playing for hours.
The game's graphics are excellent especially for a DS game and the movie cut scenes are very entertaining to watch. Professor Layton and the Curious Village is played in first person, which is a bit awkward, but suites the game... Don't worry you will get used to it.
There are over 130 puzzles that you can solve but you don't need to solve all of them in orders to beat the game. Most of the puzzles are fun and require creative thinking but some are just plain annoying. If you have trouble on a puzzle you can uses hint coins to help you out. You find hint coins around the village, but you must tap objects to find them.
Overall this game is very good, but if your not into puzzles that much you may not like it, or it may surprise you like it did for me. Hopefully my review helped you decide on this game!
