I'm Back

After a month or two imglade to report that im back - my internet is now back up and going.

First of all a hello to everyone whom i have missed chatting too. Sole, Shaman, Icy, konnish and everyone else. And you too Kat, thanks for the emails and sorry about not replying.

But, sadly arecent moterbikeaccident has left me with my righthand broken.I am now of work but am stuck with one good hand and can't do a lot including fixing up my bike!

Bad few months.

Some of you will be unawear that I have been going though a rough time at work the last few months. During March I fell serously ill. Believeing at first to be Meningiters or Phenomia I was examined by three different doctors who, luckily, ruled me ok. However I lost three weeks of my life and worst was still to come.

On my return to work (returned early due to feeling fit) my employees did not like me having time off and despite what may have happened to my health, I was de-promoted and given a final warning. A close friend on this site pretty much kept me sane as we emailed each other offten and without her I think I would have gone completly mad! I was lucky to have someone  to talk to during that hard time.

Then this weekend my friend told me my ex girlfriend was seen with a young child (took me ages to convince him that the child wasn't mine!) and then my home computer broke down so I have no internet. But I'll still be able to log in while I'm still here at work.

On a much happier note, I am going to see a band perform in London soon so I am really looking foward to that as they are very talented. And I am planning a Beyblade forum topic which should hopfully hit the screens very soon, so keep your eyes open and read the rules very carfully  as it will be a gaming one.

Got Lucky

Yep I got lucky.

Saturday evning I was down at the club with a few members of my family.

After all evning feeding the fruit mashine with money I decided to have a go and (second time that evning) and put £4 into the mashine. And could not believe that I won the JACKPOT !!£250. I was delighted.

On Sunday saw me spending some money (not my winnings) on some old batman back issues. So all in all I had a fantastic weekend. Shame about returning to work!

And what is happening on the Beyblade forum! We seem to be getting a few newbies but there seems to be tension among us oldies. And what is it with those terrible posts one of which just had woof, woof and talking about animals. Beyblade guys, Beyblade, not about what animal we want to be, who we want to date, who we hate, who we love. Beyblade. Find a forum ran by an agony aunt for those terrible posts you all write..

Counting down to the New Year

Hey all.

Trust you all had a good christmas and all.

Thank you for the email Shaman, hope you had a great xmas and did not get too stuffed on turkey/goose.

A lot has happened on the beyblade forum since when I was last on (21/12) looks like there are some newbies as well which should make the forum a bit more intresting if they hang around.

But what I would like to add about the latest forum topics are; anyone can enjoy anime/manager no matter what their age and Tyson may be lerader but Kai is much more better and skilled then him. And Kai looked dreadful in V-force no matter which colour top he wore. And Tyson and Kai are not lovers. There are websites out there who may disagree but too me it is common sence. They are not gay.

Well, with that over with I better start my count down to 2007.

And again thanks for everyone who left a message on my topic on the BB forum.

Don't know if I will be back again until New Year so if I'm not I wish you all a good 2007.

See you soon.

Adam

Newbies and Oldtrees

Going through some old emails a little while ago, I was startled to discover the email sent by tv.tome asking me to re-join when it became tv.com. Does anyone remember those emails? Can't believe that it has now been over a year.

Recently, I have also celebrated my parents 30th wedding anniversary by throwing a party which went amazing well considering I was planning everything. Nearly everybody turned up, except for one cousin who I was going to advice on how to set up a website.

But I was reunited with two of my old childhood friends and, was annoyed at myself  (one of them I should have dated years ago and badly regret that I never asked her out, how foolish I was!).

On the 5th November it will be my birthday and so I will be meeting my old friends yet again on the 11th when we go for a birthday drink.

Also recently joined the website bebo and am struggling to make updates and inviting other friends to join - without success.

Latley, everything else is plodding along, life is going on in the Beyblade Forum (this time I have not upset Katarinna!), new members joinging and my old friend Sole_Survivor has paid us a few visits, but sadly there are more newbies then us oldtrees. Considering making a topic at Beyblade but desided to hold if off for now.

Yep my life is going ok considering I am, at the moment, hiding out at work typing this message.

Beyblade websites/ pictures.

Found this picture of Max while I was going through some old files on my computer. I was never a picture guy but desided to post this up as - apart from it being blurred and slightly washed - it is a good picture.

A few years ago when there were many fan based Beyblade websites - including my one - I would spend hours snapping pictures and creating beyblade images, but many were never used. A little thought did pop into my head to do bring my website back on the web but after seeing so many other sites failing or being adbandoned, I decided not to, as I really do not have the time or internet access anymore.

Talking about time, after a week of not being on tv.com, I came onto the website to discover that I had forgotten to log off my name. After moaning at my sister for always leaving herself log on after using tv, I felt a bit guilty.

Also news that Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond is in a critical state after a car crash, left me gutted. Thought I am not a big Top Gear fan/veiwer, I always enjoyed Richard and the other programs he did, as he was likable and always bought a touch of comidy to presenting. I hope he makes a full recovery.

R.I.P Beyblade

Like most tv.com members, I am not going to be around forever.

And like most TV shows, neither is Beyblade.

Apart from Katarinna, myself and the few other there arn't many of us  left who saw tvtome become tv.com.

So it shocked and horrified me that a comment by Katarinna led people to believe that the Beyblade forum was FOR GIRLS ONLY.

Now I was angry and I know a lot of other members would be too such as my old friend sole-survivor. Truth is nobody is intrested in Beyblade anymore because it is no longer made, and it is only within months/years that it would fade completly just like those other tv shows whos forums lay empty and unvisited. The Beyblade forum is only alive because of us who use it and we can kiss it goodbye if no new members join and with  Katarinna attitude new members won't be joining anytime soon.

Katarinna has truly hammered a nail into the beyblade forum coffin.

Beyblade Websites

Except for www.beyblade.com there are hundreds more Beyblade websites created by both fans and companys. Sadly my website never took off so I am annoyed by how other webmasters/mistressess allow theres just to die. I have a long list of Beyblade websites that I have come across but for now there is only one I will add. Websites: www.destinationbeyblade.tech.nu

Beyblade: Which was your faveroute season?

Hi On the Beyblade page, I (among the many others) have written a reveiw about all three seasons of the cartoon. I have titled it "A decent Show" and have added it below. Please feel free to read it and if you want to state to other if you agree/disagree or want to state which season was your faveroute then please do. Thanks. Ad. A decent show I have got nothing bad to say about the first season of Beyblade. In fact it was brilliant! It was amusing, intresting and enjoyable with brilliant characters and a decent storyline. It was popular; with toys, cards and stickers all following the UK release of Beyblades on DVD's. Each story was well written and made you feel for the charaters during their travils. The seconds lot - What can I say! Did it really exsist? The characters got younger,Kai shrunk and went anorexic and the stories were BAD. Third lot - no way! Not after the dreadfull second series! But (to my shock) it was much better - so much better that it made us all to foget that the second season exsisted - Thank God! Beyblade was really for boys but the girls also enjoyed the cartoons for the pure fun and intrest that it offered (and the fact that they found Kai attractive! - Girls comeon! its only a cartoon!!!). But to me Season 1 was the best and it will always be the best. Thanks for reading.

Info on myself.

Hi, Im Adam. So far I have been in charge of Joel Palmers bio since April 2004 when this site was known as TVTome. I have decided to do a lot more work and hope you will enjoy what I write, but I have been known to be truthful and outspoken (and take no crap from anyone!) so I hope I don't cause any offence. I am a dedicated anime fan (Japan) so I hope you will keep a look out for any posts or messages that I leave. If you have any questions or comments then please leave a message. Cheers. Adam
