As you may have guessed by the title, I am going to Germany today, Woot woot. Going with some friends for some random fun, which may seem like a long way to go for a long weekend since I live in Canada and all, but three cheers for airmiles! And it looks like I picked a good time to go, with no SN this week I have to find something to keep myself busy...going to go looking for Dean in Leiderhosen, and telling people to Guten Tag themselves (wonder if anyone else will find that funny?) Hey Dean, I got your dream job for you! So wierd thing happened to me today. I was at work at the So You Think You Can Dance Tour while it was in Toronto. During the intermission they actually had a giant Snuggles, the Fabric Softner Teddy Bear, dancing on the stage! Now Dean can track him down and fullfill his dying wish. (From the first time.)

Still loving Season four, I say it every season, but best one yet! Can't wait to find out about Dean's time in Hell and what is up with Sammy's eyes.

I have just discovered Dr Horrible, and I wonder what took so long! Its a hilarious little three part Webisode by Joss Whedon - its something wonderful to come out of the Writers Strike! An Evil but Inept super-villian struggles to prove he is evil enough for the Evil League of Evil, and still win the girl. I love the egotistical Captain Hammer who manages to save the day while still looking great.

I love a good musical, and this one is hillarious! I hope a sound track comes out soon, it should if Whedon is still trying to raise enough money to pay every one! So two thumbs up to Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion, and if you haven't seen it yet do it, cause til then the Status is Not quo!

Stargate Atlantis has been cancelled. A surprising decision has been made to take out the SG1 spinoff while it is on top. A little shocking, but it does make sense. Why let the show take the down turn SG1 did as it got older. (Yes, I still loved it till the end and beyond) But the Powers that Be have decided to skip the downfall and go straight in to Post-Series movies with Atlantis. It worked with SG1 why not Atlantis. But don't worry, TV won't long be with out a Stargate series for long. The Stargate Universe has been green lit. I think its a good idea if its done right. An SG team stumbles aboard and automated ship and get trapped as it heads out to the far side of the universe. Sounds a little like the Atlantis plot, an team trapped with out the resources of the SGC. I hope this crew lasts a few more seasons before they manage to contact home.

Well, I am not sure what to think yet, but I am certainly going to give it a chance. Lets hope the third series plays well and the movies keep coming. My sis used to tease me for being such a sci-fi geek...but man I am certainly not the only one!

Yea! Stargate Continuum finally came out! So as a SG1 deprived person I am so happy. It was a good movie, with some good old-fashioned SG1 fun. Jack was back, as sarcastic as ever. Everyone was traveling and working together just like they used to. There were a couple huge shocks I couldn't believe, so if you haven't seen the movie yet you might want to stop reading cause here come the SPOILERS. (I do talk about the twists and the ending)

It was all well done, epecially since they couldn't take Micheal Shanks to film in the arctic. I had heard Daniel would be hurt and that's why he got left behind, but I could not believe what they did to him huge and shocking! Though, it cracked me up that he actually swore. Its so unexpected, since they never swore in the show (obviously). But when Daniel just says "oh sh*t" my jaw dropped.

Their experience in the alternate time line was pretty interesting, i was not expecting them to have to live there for so long. It was so sad when the three of them were not allowed to have contact with each other, and when Daniel tried to call himself and reassure the other Daniel that he wasn't just a crack-pot.

The ending was pretty good, I liked Ba'als Time-Machine and how he minipulated all the other System lords with his knowledge of the future. The big battle was text book SG1, a little too much. Though I guess it's not Stargate if Daniel doesn't die. I was a little annoyed that it was Cam that made it through the gate and saved the world all by his lonesome.

The entire movie was a wonder team adventure...why did they stop for the end. Though I guess I am not the best judge as Cam was never a favourite for me. And when Mitchell went back ten years before the Achilles crashed, I wondered if anyone else was begging them not to make Cam is own grandfather. (thankfully, they didn't.) Also, not enough Jack.

All in all, still loved the movie and will happily watch it several times, then once more with audio commentary!:D Final evaluation - Ally Happy!

Ok, it soo didn't work. Instead of taking my mind of Supernatural, I just devoured BG and now I am sitting here in agony waiting for season four of BOTH shows. Sigh, whats the world coming too? So now I nead to find a new distraction, though I think a new show will just be more frustration (and money getting all those DVD's!) At least it is summer out, hopefully July will be nicer out and I can start getting outside more before work!

With Dean trapped in Hell, its 4 months of agony for all SN fans. Everyone has to cope some how, and I did it by finding Battlestar Galactica. In its fourth season, I was never very interested before but decided to give it a try. With no new tv, why not. Well, i didn't even make it through the mini-series before I was hooked. What a great sci-fi story, with the destruction of the majority of the human race, and the few survivors searching for earth you get some great action and some good humane moments about life after the end. Unfortunately i can get seasons 1-3 on DVD, but it is going to be a wait for season 4 since it isn't even over yet. Maybe SN will be back by then to help me through the wait.

I just don't get why my quotes keep getting rejected. Most of them end up getting posted later anyways. and the comment from the moderator is to check my spelling, but this is what they actually say "Please format to tv.com standards and other quotes on page, check spelling you\'re vs. your, thanks." Come on! Its just frustrating.

I am so excited for the second half of the Supernatural season to start. Its too bad that there will only be four more episodes, but that is better then waiting til next fall. It looks like there will be a good entertaining episode with Harry and Ed before we get back to Dean and his deal. I can't wait to see how that turns out, whether or not Dean ends up in Hell and how Sammy deals.

Should be good!
