Plushie!

Add another plushie to my collection, an Itachi Uchia plushie - though it's the animal version; he looks rather adorable.. A mouse. LOL! Surprisingly he was only £14.99, while the Kakashi and Sasuke were around £22.99 and £24.99, but that might have been because he didn't have a bag to protect him?

I was going to buy Sasuke, but the price tag, and the fact that I already have him at home kinda sealed my desicion on buying him... Though he was adorable! SO was Kakashi.

Manga

So yester I bought 3 manga's at Waterstones, was actually expecting it to be there buy 3 for something or another, like the big on in town has, but however....

I got Battle Royale - a very violent manga, very graphic and I can see why it was wrapped in clingfilm.

Loveless - the cat ears made no sense at all, but it's cute anyway. The whole plot hasn't come together but I'm betting the next volume explains it better.

Diabolo - I think that's how it was spelt. Means devils. It was interesting, the first 2/3 chapters were interesting; but I get a feeling that if this is a long manga it will get real repetative very soon.

I was actually looking for Gundam manga's, but I'll probably need to check out Forbidden Planet first, or go to Play.com....

Stuff

I've ordered two Gundam Seed Destiny DVD's from Play.com and HMV, so hopefully they will arrive within the week, thankfully I don't need to pay shipping for them either.

I've also got new contacts in, my old one's apparently left a bit of a mark on my eyes... But these one's are easier to use; to put in and take out. Magic.

I've also knitted a hat for a bath bomb, one of the girls at work requested that I do it, so I did. I don't know how it's going to fit the bathbomb though, I think it's too small.... But it looks good, if I say so myself. LOL.

Knitting

I knit way too much... Though I love doing it, I knitted a scarf for a girl at my work; who commented that I should sell what I knitted. Not a bad idea, though I only knit scarfs.

Why?

Well because when you really think about it, a scarf isn't complicated to knit. Just about... 20 stitches on and then knit, you can knit however you want to - purl, basket weve ect; it doesn't matter, because it looks good as a scarf. Though I love the wool that feels really soft, the softer the wool is and I think colour has a lot to do with it too. I hate bland colours when I knit. i always go for colours that I know I won't wear, I have knitted a scarf that is really bright, with bits of yellow, pink, green all mixed together - it doesn't sound like it should make a nice scarf, but it does! Plus it's so soft! I think I might go back and buy some more of that wool, make an extremely long scarf... Like Tom Baker had when he was in Doctor Who. Only this one is more colourful, and will feel nicer on the skin.

I plan on knitting a cloak. I'll probably need about... 350 stitches to make it, maybe 450, but I'll measure my coat and see how it goes from there. More than likely I shall never finish it... But it's a test. At lest the wool was cheap; 6 balls of wool for £5.

Contactlenses

So I went for a trail of contactlenses, yes I do wear glasses and have done so for almost 10 years. It was a bit stressful at first, the lady at the shop put them in and then she showed me how to put them out... Didn't exactly work very well, it took me an age to figure it out. So I went back at 1 since she had another customer waiting, which was fine.

So went back and I got to put them in... Which also took a wee while, once that was done I had to take them back out, which wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

So I've got an order for my first 3 lenses to come all paid for; but when I went to sleep last night, or tried to, my eye muscles were acting up like I was putting in/taking out the contacts. It was really weird.
