Rantings of a Rookie Editor

As I've recently become an Editor here on the site for the first time, I figured I'd go ahead and write something a bit more in depth about myself. I have never been a fan of blogs or blog sites (Facebook, Myspace, etc.), so I don't plan on doing this on a regular basis--only when circumstances demand it, like now. I've been visiting the site for some years (back when it was Tvtome) mostly becuase I liked the episode guides. It was a convenient way to find out (mostly) reliable info about shows I liked. When a number of shows I really enjoyed all ended at about the same time a year ago (Kim Possible, Danny Phantom, and American Dragon: Jake Long), I went ahead and registered and have been a regular visitor and contributor ever since. I tend to mostly contribute episode information and quotes I find interesting, as well as posts to some of the forums. As an avid fan of animation, most of my favorites on the site are animated series. I may add shows of other types but most likely infrequently. It's my interest in animation that resulted in my becoming an editor, having made a good number of contributions to a show a few months back and then coming back to add new episodes that have just started airing. The show, Horseland, is really nothing to crow about, as it's not very challenging viewing, but I guess young girls like it. As mentioned in my profile, I'm involved in METROCON, an anime/video game convention held anually in Tampa, Florida. 2009 will be our 7th con and we hope to continue to grow, having attracted more than 6,000 attendees this past July. Check it out if you're interested. That's all for now. I'll be around...
