I went to see The Gospel last night with my mom, and I must say, that movie is absolutely worth the price of admission and more. I got goosebumps from all of the beautiful gospel music I heard. From Yolanda Adams to Fred Hammond to Donnie McClurkin. All of the gospel greats made special appearances (I was expecting to see Kirk Franklin in it too, but that's another story). Did I mention Boris Kodjoe? Boris did a fantastic job in the film. Considering he is Jewish and has never been exposed to the "gospel" way of life, I think his performance was outstanding.
