[QUOTE="CloudX"]Theres a seperate wire for hooking your 360 strait up to the recivier through a optical cable. It plugs into were the old av cables went. and the only resolution you can get with hdmi is 480p,720p,and 1080p.SicsStringFreakwell my tv supports 1366x768 thru hdmi and vga ports, so i know hdmi can carry that signal, i am just wondering on if the 360 will let it or just stick to the component formats. i hope it has a 768p mode. and i want optical sound( to reciever ) while using the hdmi video. Thats what im saying about the sound. While the hdmi is plugged in you plug another cable for just sound into the old av port and you can plug in an optical cable strait from the 360 to the recivier. Go to www.majornelson.com and look at the pictures he has of it then i think you will understand.
its funny how lemmings werent as good as ps3 before because ps3 had a bigger harddrive and a hdmi yet now that we have it cows are saying we are getting owned. Also any one arguing about the hddvd not being included and the wifi not being included should really go and listen to the pod cast major nelson has up on his site. They explain why they chose to keep those out fo the full package. And yes it is because of choice, and it makes perfect sense i dont need wireless and i dont need hddvd so why pay for it.
And its still doing better then the ps3. Almost makes you wanna cry doesnt it?Sony says:

So let me get this straight... this new unit is like the PS3 with a larger hard drive and a headset, but without hi-def movie play back included, no tilt control, game discs that hold 5x less content than Blu-ray discs, $50 a year for online play instead of being free, and it costs only $20 less than a $500 PS3? Well, perhaps they'll add those features in next year's Super X360 Turbo: Hyper Fighting edition.

I think its good there finally getting there act together. It seems like they are actually trying to make things fun now. While I still think Home is damn close to useless atleast they didnt try to copy live and went there own direction and by the time they get every thing running it to where you can play a game with your friend strait from it, it will be great. Also LBP is looking really fun im glad there making new games now and not relying on sequels. If they keep going this way ill have to buy a ps3 next year.
