Hey all, this is my first time doing this, so here goes nothing....Well if you've read my profile you know that I love the show Law and Order SVU and I idolize Mariska Hargitay. I guess this is because of her role as Detective Olivia Benson on the show Law and Order SVU. Because things like rape and child molestation and other assults happen every day,it makes me want to do something about it. Mariska Hargitay is a rape crisis counselor, she is doing something about it, and I think that is something that I would do. I feel that even the smallest little bit of wanting to do something and then doing it helps. Mariska really seems, although i have never met her before, to be a real person. A person who isn't just an actor but some who does something to help. I think thats why she has inspired me to be a better person. I live my life to be even just 1/8 of the person Mariska is. I don't think she's just another celebrity. She's a beautiful woman with confidence and who can kick ass! She's definitley an inspiration.
