Official Wii news at last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's up gamers! The day has finally arrived and Ninty has finally given the news we have been waiting for...........It will release Nov. 19 for $250!!! I guessed it would be about this much, but the thing that really surprised me was that Wii sports was included in the package. Do you know how long it has been since games actually came with the system? That's going back to the SNES days. Combine this with free online play, photo storage, the virtual console, and the web browser and it is a pretty sweet deal for one console. In other news, cube fans are not going to be happy about this.......Zelda TP for the cube has been delayed AGAIN!! But only until December. I am picking it up in Nov. with the Wii. Make sure to check Ign and gamespot for the latest updates all throughout today. Viva la Wii-volution!!!!

Next wii-k is not coming soon enough!!

Greetings gamers! I hope this finds all of you still being able to game despite the homework load.  While deep in my studies at school, I still have some time to get on GS and see what is going on. I am currently playing through LOTR: The Third Age on Xbox, and it is a great game! Anybody who likes Lord of the Rings and addictive turn based RPGs should definitely check this one out. Like I said for the title of this blog, I don't know how much longer I can wait to get some solid Wii information that is supposedly being unveiled on the 14th. The system is scheduled  to come out in just a few mere months and they still have not given a release date or price! I want some solid info, so I can go out and prebuy this sucker. It would be nice to hear some more about the virtual console and the online plans the Big N has. With the news of the PS3's limited amount of consoles, now is the perfect time for Ninty to step up and give some good info. Well, it will only be a matter of time, the 14th will be here soon........Wii Will rock you!

School has begun, I'm a level 13, all this Wii news, too much going on!

Greetings my gaming brethren! Well, classes have started yet again and it is time to get to work. Admist all this homework, it is always good to have games to play to kick back and relieve the stress. Anybody know what I mean? Well, I guess I am keeping up pretty well on Gamepot, since I am up to level 13 now! It is pretty easy to stay consistent on gamespot since I have wireless internet at school. Man, I don't know about you, but there has been a truckload of Wii news going on lately. Between the price and release rumors and the new controls for Zelda: TP on the Wii , it is definitely helping the big N build up hype. It would be nice to hear more about the virtual console stuff, there has been no news on it for a while, except the usual rumors. Maybe the GC conference in Germany will bring more news. Until next time, keep on gaming!

Only a couple days left before school.......time to game like crazy!

Greetings fellow gamers! Just as I am about to settle down at home, it is almost time for school again! I guess I should game as much as I can before it starts. I picked up a good used copy of Burnout Revenge for Xbox and it is an awesome game! If you like arcade racing at all or a game that is just fun, this is a good one to pick up. You should be able to find used copies due to people getting Revenge for their 360's. I am also going through Beyond Good & Evil again. This was an awesome game made by Ubisoft that did not sell as well as it should. It is a shame because anyone who loves the Zelda games will love this one. Speaking of Ubisoft, I am getting pretty pumped about all the support they are giving the Wii. With Red Steel, Rayman, and Far Cry come system launch and Prince of Persia coming at some point, the Wii has some pretty good support! Well, until next time, Wii will rock you!

Back in Action!!!

What's up fellow gamers who read this blog, I am back home from camp counseling and back online. Nothing really new gaming wise except catching up on playing some Smash Bros. Still anxiously awaiting some more news regarding the Wii's release and price. Still considering whether to get Zelda:TP for the cube or the Wii. I love the fishing game from OoT, and seeing it in TP gets me pretty excited. I just hoped that TP will not be delayed again, I really don't want to wait for another year! Well, until next blog!

Ahh.....finals are over, E3 was awesome and I can finally blog!

What's up fellow gamers. My laptop was broken and all I had was dial up for the past few weeks.....uggghhhh......so I could not have enough time to blog. Finally, I got the laptop fixed and I can finally go back online. Enough about me, more about E3! Holy cow......what a showing. Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo all had some surprises this year. Microsoft brought some awesome footage from Gears of War and unveiled the Halo 3 trailer which was nothing short of awesome! Sony was surprising in the underwhelming sense. I could not believe how unimpressive their show was. I expected them to blow us away with beatiful titles like Killzone and other titles, but the only major news I got from them was the hefty price tag for the PS3. Nintendo probably had the best presence at E3. The games shown for the Wii look incredible. Can't wait to get my hands on it in the fall. The news of Zelda: TP on the Wii couldn't make me happier. I was kind of dissapointed in the lack of playable Smash bros., but I guess the trailer will suffice (Snake?! Didn't see that one coming!). Overall, I thought E3 was awesome! Can't wait to see what the next year of gaming will bring forward. Well, this will probably be my last blog for the summer. I am going to be counseling at a camp that has no internet, so I will not be back until August. Been great guys, have a good summer!

Nintendo Wii..........

Yeah, I know I am posting the same blog as everyone else is on Gamespot..........oh well. When I first read the new name I was speechless and very confused. It is how I felt when I saw the controller earlier last year. I first thought it was stupid but then I got used to it. Same goes with the name. While I believe that Nintendo has had trouble in the naming business lately(Twilight Princess and now this?!), I honestly do not care what the system is called as long as the games supporting the.....err....Wii(it bothers me to say that still!) are solid. Nintendo went with an off the wall name to get people talking about it and it's working! Look at how many people are talking about this on gamespot alone!!! Nintendo has a very interesting marketing strategy to get some pre e3 buzz going. Well, I am still waiting for E3 to see what the Wii has to offer. Until next time, I will end with Kenzo287's new slogan....Wii will rock you!

E3......not coming fast enough.....just like summer break!!!!!!

Greetings to all people who read this blog. Not a whole lot going on this time as far as gaming goes. Just counting down the days onto E3 and some awesome Revolution news! Even though there has be narry a word on Zelda: TP besides Rev control  functionality which I figured would happen anyway. Come on just a release date...come on Nintendo give me something! I am pretty pumped about Red Steel, the first game revealed for REV. It looks awesome and will change the way FPS's are played. It is by Ubisoft so I am not concerned a bit. Check out Nishamuffypuppy's profile on my friend's list to see screens for the game. Not playing games much except for Smash Bros. and helping my roommate figure out what he is supposed to do on Wind Waker. Ahh.....the joy of beating a game and watching others go through it and struggle with it.....it's quite enjoyable.Well, until next blog, viva la revolution!

Greetings from the poor college gamer!- Feb. 7, 2006

Greetings to all who happen to read this blog. I thought that since I have not written in this for a long time, it would be a good time to. Nothing new going on this time. Playing through Zelda: Minish cap right now and it is awesome. This is a perfect distraction for me until TP comes out at some point. I want it so bad! Also playing through HL2 on Xbox, it is pretty cool, definitely different than any other shooter I have played in a while(besides Stranger's wrath, class of its own!). Still waiting for the Revolution to fully surface....E3 please come soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

November 29, 2004

The holidays are finally upon us. Time for good food, time with family and friends, and of course playing some of the best games of the year. It all began the night of November 8th. Like thousands of others around the US, I was anxiously awaiting my copy of Halo 2. As soon as I got my hand on that sucker, nothing else mattered. The story was better, the graphics beautiful, and duel wielding enjoyingly destructive. The sword was my favorite way to get revenge on the flood for ruining Halo 1. I won't give anything away, but the ending was.............interesting. Since then I have played some other solid games. Paper Mario for the cube was one of the funniest games I have played through in a long time. The combat system was really good and it was actually a challenging game. Those who have a cube should check this game out. Now, I have my hands on the Nintendo DS and having a really good time! Being able to take classics like mario 64 with me wherever I go is worth $150, the FREE wireless internet play makes it even better. I am going through Crimson skies for a quick fix, while waiting for KOTOR 2. Until next time, Happy holidays
