OK, not "Silver". But definitely "Away!" as in away to see the folks once more. But this time, things will be a bit different. An auntie of mine is moving to Australia, so this will be the last time we'll see her and the kids for a long while. We're very close to them - she's more like a sister than an auntie, really - so it will be difficult. More so for my mum and grandparents than me, really. But such is life! These things happen, and it could be a great opportunity for them. And in other news, the new Star Trek movie is only a month away! "Star Trek? Feh!" I hear you cry. But wait! It's got Simon Pegg in it. And we likes a bit 'o The Pegg, don't we? Yes! We do! Word is that he's great in the role of Scotty and steals just about every scene that he's in. Well, better get packing for the trip - I go tomorrow morning. And remember - YOU CAN'T HAVE MY JELLY!

And by that I mean "My internet access got suspended by my ISP because I owed them some money". After I got back from the usual Xmas-visiting-of-the-folks type thing I found that instead of nice, lovely webby pages I was greeted by a standard issue "No Internets for you!" message from my ISP. Bastages. So I had to arrange the humble borrowage of monies from the folks I had so recently visited. And had to wait 48 hours after payment for my Internets to come back. But because I payed it on the weekend, I had to wait until Monday for the 48 hour period to start. So here I am, in the early hours of Wednesday morning, finally back online. I can finally get back to idly clicking on stuff for a while before saying "I can't think of anything to do..." and buggering off to watch a DVD. :D

Tomorrow I go to visit the folks, as I do from time to time. And yet again I'm putting this oh-so-useful info in a blog post. Hehe. As a parting gift, I give you the first wallpaper I've made in quite a time - a "Victorian Doctor" concept I thunk up in my head-space: Auntie, Cordy and Py should be getting their fix of The Doctor very soon...enjoy! :D

Tomorrow I'm off to see the family for 10 days, as I occasionally do. I know, I know - what will you all do without me to hold the place together? Can my ready wit and verbose posting style be replaced? And who will wibble the frossett-pouches of the ladies? But I shall return. Fear not. Stop crying, please. :D

Blazing Saddles is on TV as I type - and Lily Von Schtupp has taken to the stage! Damn, Maddy Kahn was one of the funniest people ever. She really was.

I think it's time to dig out the exercise bike, dust off the cobwebs and start using it again. This, coupled with sensible eating (basically, the opposite of my current junk food scoffing habits), seems to be a Good Idea. I know, I know....this sort of resolution is rarely stuck to. Everyone says it, yet few stick with it. But I really do want to avoid becoming permanently attached to chairs and sofas like a great big hippo in trousers. :D

To be a daft old git. And to such an end it's time for the first ever Annual ITL Blog Streak. *Removes clothes and gets running* WHEEEEE!! Damn, this winter air's some chilly s*it...makes a fellow feel all...shrinky. Dammit. :D Tomorrow I'm off to see the folks for Christmas, so you all be good little herberts while I'm away. And that's the thing. I think my brain's seized up. I look at a thread or blog entry and nope! Can't think of anything. (BTW - this isn't self pity. I'm just perplexed).

Well, it's past midnight here in BritLand, so it's technically my birfday! So that's 41 nails in the coffin so far, then....lol And as I hit this not-milestone it's time to ponder. To reflect on what I've achieved, what I've learned, and how I've grown as a person. Stop laughing at the back. *reflects* Bloody hell, that didn't take long. :D

Well, I had my first Firefly viddy pulled from DaTube....got one of those "copyright infringement" emails.... Maybe I'll just delete all of my vids and close my account. They're all going to be pulled eventually. Oh, BTW. I'm back. Hooray! Let the ladies dance!
