The Party's Over

Happy New Year to all of you! I hope you will all be blessed in 2006!! 2005 is now officially an ended chapter, yet anoher one, the 27th of it kind. Looking back at 2005 it has been an interesting year. * I finished my education * I went to the Live8 in London * I got pregnant Those I guess are the major things that has happened in 2005.. Finishing my education is a really big thing, no more school. I really enjoyed he education though and I miss it. But I am excited about starting to work! Going to the Live8 in London didn't really seem like a big deal to me beforehand. I was thinking it might be big if there would be bombings on tat specific day, but they didn't come till days after the event. I was more excited about just going to London in general, I seriously LOVE London! It is an amazing city!! It turned out to be an exciting event though because of the riots that went on when we went to the Live8. People where I was standing started to fight with he police and hey had to call for back-up - 90 policemen were monitoring the rest of the event at the spot where we were!! It was scary when it happened and I was glad to make it back to the hotel after.. But now it is interesting to look back at :) No one were hurt - The police were calm about removing any threats to the safety of others. Being pregnant is an amazing experience and a blessing that I am thankful for every day (even though it may not seem like it at the times wen I am feeling nausia or annoyed at the limitations ;)) It is exciting to know that next year there will be a new addition to the family and there is in general a lot of exciement attached with it.. Will it be a boy or a girl, what will he/she look like, how will it be to be a parent.. Of course there are a lot of scary thoughts connected withe being pregnant too, but we take it one day at the time and have faih that everything will be ok :) I hope you all had a blast in 2005 - Go even further in 2006!! I Can't Get Started

Well, I've been really active here lately which is mainly caused by the fact that I am, as some of you may know, confined to my bed these days.. It is also cause by the fact that Gilmore Girls won't be back till January 10th and I am very excited about my One And Only favourite tv show.. Well, I am now that the whole drag-a-long 'fued' is past and gone... Or at least almost gone.. But, anyway, I thought I'd start making entries here.. I've recently finished my education and am expecting my first child as of April 2006, I really hope to still have time to watch the end of the season even with a demanding baby though! I'm excited and look forward to the change in my life :) and I am these days really curious about the sex of the baby, I think tha is really the only countdown that is more exciting than the airing of the next episode of Gilmore Girls - So YES I am a BIG fan! I used to watch tv, at one point even a lot of it, but now I actually only watch Gilmore Girls and my Mad About You dvds (can't wait till the next season is released). I'm mostly active on Gilmore Girls, since that is what I watch, but I sometimes visit some of my favourites from the past. I started out here when it was still tvtome. I think it's nice, though sometimes the tone can get a little sidetracked, but it's nice to have a community of mutual to share opinions with. It's also interesting to hear the opinions of those you don't agree with and maybe get a different perspective on things. I'm very curious by nature, so I can't stay out of the spoiler thread during the hiatus, but once the show starts to air again, I stay away from spoilers - I wouldn't say spoilers ruins the enjoyment of he show. But it is more exciting to watch without knowing what will happen. I think Gilmore Girls is great on many levels. I must say though that it will always come in second to the lae Mad About You - That was the most brilliant tv show I have ever watched! David Lynch was a genius with he first season of Twin Peaks too. I watched it, but not obsessively, but he is a genius for haven taken all these small points and put them together in a way that, I'd almost say, spellbound the viewers. I don't think I'd watch Twin Peaks again though, I guess the magic isn't really there for me. Well, I got it started I guess... "Hey, I haven’t been dressed by a bird since I was two."
