Favorite T.V. Couple's to Route For

A lot of the fun in watching T.V. shows is routing for your favorite couples, so here is a list of my favorite T.V. show couples that do not end up together. Some of them are couples that the writers intend to put together but they want them to have some struggles first, and a few of them may not ever work out. I'll warn you that it is just the few shows that I watch, and a lot of it is Grey's Anatomy. This is partly because the cast has split up leaving dead ends for some of my favorite couples and because the show is really good at hinting that two people are meant to be together even when things don't work out for them. So here it is (starting with my favorite)

1. Alex and Izzie(Grey's Anatomy)- I have always loved these two, the way Alex cares but has trouble expressing it makes me really want them to get together.

2. Blair and Chuck(Gossip Girl)- They have great chemistry and they understand each other, if only Chuck wasn't afraid of having a relationship.

3. Susan and Mike- (Desperate Housewives) Things never seem to work out for these two, but it makes you route for them even more. They compliment each other so well.

4. Mark and Addison (Grey's Anatomy)- They had great chemistry, they just needed to wait for Mark to get used to the idea of a serious relationship, which I'm sure he would

5. George and Lexie (Grey's Anatomy)- I love how she is falling for him. They are so cute together; I just hope George realizes it soon. So cute that he could end up with Meredith's sister.

6. Brooke and Mouth(One Tree Hill)- Brooke need to be with a nice guy and their have been a few hints that she would end up with someone like him.

7. Rachel and Mouth (One Tree Hill)- I really can't decide whether I would rather see Mouth with Rachel or Brooke. He has always had chemistry with Rachel but I really want to see Brooke end up with someone good.

8. Christina and Burke (Grey's Anatomy)- They were both so dedicated too their careers and they understood each other. I can't picture either of them with anyone else, even though I know they won't work.

9. Cooper and Violet (Private Practice)- I was routing for these too last season, we don't see as much of them but they have a good friendship, with the potential for it to turn into something more.

10. Lilly and Rufus (Gossip Girl)- They are clearly meant to be together and they both know it, things just don't work out for them.

Grey's Anatomy vs. Private Practice

Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice are two of my favorite shows so far this season, but the question is which one is better. In the past I would not have had any question about this but I am starting to really like Private Practice and Grey's is starting to seem like the same old thing. Even though the shows are have similar premises, they are so different.

Private Practice- It takes a little bit of time to get into a private practice episode because the characters lives aren't extremely interesting, but once you do the medical cases are great. They deal with some really unusual cases, with great ethical issues, where you always find yourself shocked at what's happening.

Grey's Anatomy- The main reason I tune in is because I love the characters so much, but sometimes things get repetitve. I think everyone is tired of Meredith complaining and not being able to be happy, not to mention Alex not being able to grow up. The medical cases can also be boring, it seems like they have run out of interesting ideas.

Although I get more excited about Grey's, because I know how great it can be, I would have to say that Private Practice is currently the better show.

Episode Ratings

Wow, I haven't done a blog in a long time.

Anyways, when I first found out that you could only rate episodes a whole number or a .5 I was annoyed since it would be hard to be specific about it. Now that I think about it, it may actually be better. I used to give everything between an eight and nine so this will just spread it out more. Anyways here's my new criteria; it's mostly for me, but you can use it when reading my reviews or if you want to get ideas on how to rate episodes.

10 not only one of the best episodes of the show but there was something extra special about it
9.5 one of the best episodes of the show
9 good, something special about it
8.5 better than average
8 average
7.5 ok, but it was kind of boring
7 the storylines weren't very good
6.5 there was something about this episode that I really didn't like
6 this episode was bad
5 this was really bad, what were the writters thinking
4 this episode was so bad that it was starting to make me mad
2.5 it's ruining the series for me
1 because of this episode I'm not going to watch this show anymore

Amazing Race Power Rankings: Week 6

1. Kynt and Vyxsin- Another strong finish and it just doesn't see like they aregoing to make any bigmistakes

2.Ron and Christina- A first place finish is starting to show me that they aren't justcontinuing to get lucky each week

3. Tk and Rachel- They continue to finish towards the front

4. Nathan and Jennifer- I just don't think they will be able tocontinue to do well with all the arguing they are doing

5. Nicolas and Donald- They are yet to prove that they can finish near the front. Each week they barely make it through and I'm not sure how much longer that can last

Thoughts- I was so disapointed to see Azaria's team leave. They were clearly the strongest team left but they made one little mistakeand it cost them the race. NowI want either Kynt and Vyxsin or Tk and Rachel. In the begining of this race I didn't really like the goths but they are really starting to grow on me.

Amazing Race Power Rankings: Week 5

These are a bit late, butat least I have them done before the next episode...

1. Azaria and Hendekia- All leave them in number 1 even though they didn't finish at the top. They are still a strong team, likely to finish in the front.

2. Kynt and Vyxsin- They continue to finish towards the front of the pack, and it seems like they are yet to make any significant mistakes.

3. Tk and Rachel- Last to first, pretty impressive

4. Jennifer and Nate- This team's arguing seemed to get out of control. I would have put them further down, but teams like this temd to win the race

5. Ronald and Christina- Despite arriving third the last two weeks I just don't think the have what it takes. They did a really bad job with the flights and I'm not sure he can make it through the race with his hernia

6. Nicolas and Donald- They are yet to come in at the front of the pack and they really messed up on that roadblock

Favorites- I don't really know who I like. I guess my favorite is Tk and Rachel. I was disapointed to see the last all girl team get eliminated from the race. I know I don't like Nate and Jen, Ron and Christina, and Nicolas and Donald, so at least routing agianst them will make it interesting.

Survivor Blog: This Weeks Best and Worst Players

This is from the last episode, sorry it is a little late. I just watch the episode today.

The Best: In this episode Amanda proved she is the best player in the game. I was so tired of having everyone sit around and let Todd and James control the game. I was glad to see that Amanda realized that she would not be able to win if she went to the final four with them, and that this was the last possible week to get rid of James. I hope she turns agianst Todd in the coming weeks so that she has a better chance of winning in the end. I really didn't expect Amanda to be the one to make the power move, and I was glad to see it.

The Worst: Denise is just not playing this game at all. She doesn't seem at all willing to switch alliances, does she not realize that she isn't really with her alliance and there is no way she would win agianst them.

Some people would say Jamesmade a big mistake and is not playing the game well butthere is no way he could have known that they were voting agianst him. He took a risk in not using it, but that is the only way you are going to win. I would have used it and counted on winning one of the next two immunities, but his move made sense too.

Amazing Race Power Rankings: Week 4

1. Azaria and Hendekea-With all the first places this team has has there is no way I could not put them in first place. They seem to work well together and they motivate eachother to do the best job they possibly can.

2. Nathan and Jennifer-After the first leg I thought these two would argue all the time and they wouldleave early, but they have really changed things. They have proved they will do whatever it takes to get there as fast as they can.

3. Kynt and Vyxsin- Although they didn't do great this week they have proved they can finish near the top.

4. Ronald and Christina- They are doing better and better, and are starting to prove that they belong in the race

5. Shana and Jennifer- They continue to finish near the back of the pack, but I can't blame them this time because there was no equilizer. I liked how they used the U-turn

6. Tk and Rachel- Despite doing well the first 3 weeks this team is not impressing me. Somehow they managed to drop from 2nd to 7th place and I just don't think they have the sense of direction or skills to win the race

7. Nicolas and Donald- This team has not been able to finish toward the front of the pack and for some reason I just don't think they have what it takes.

Amazing Race Power Rankings: Week 3

Time for a new set of rankings, after last weeks provided not to be too accurate with the top team almost getting eliminated. Hopefully these will be more accurate

1. Kynt and Vyxsin- each week theyfinishtowards the front of the pack and they seem to work well together and compliment eachother nicely.

2. Azaria and Hendekea- Another first place finish, they are doing well. They zoomed through the learn it task, although they struggled with the camel.

3. Jennifer and Nathan- They look like a strong team. They knew how to work the flights and it seems like Jennifer is trying to work on their problems with getting along.

4. TK and Rachel- They seem like their laid back attitude will help them aviod freaking out and not being able to perform, but they seemed to have a little bit of trouble with direction.

5. Lorena and Jason- Although they had problems with the camel this week, I think they will be a strong team in the future. They did a good job catching up once they were in last.

6. Shana and Jennifer- They always seem to be behind the front runners. They don't seem to be doing anything wrong, they just aren't getting there as fast.

7. Nicolas and Donald- So far they have been in the back of the pack. They have potential to be a decent team but they haven't proved themselves yet.

8. Ronald and Christina- Their 3rd place finish may have been base on luck and I am not sure if he is in good enough shape to complete the race.

Survivor: Why Don't the Underdogs Team Up

This episode was so frustrating because it seemed like the people who were not in a position of power should have teamed up to get Todd or James out. If they had all teamed up they could have gotten one of them out by a vote of 5-3, but they didn't even consider it. Erik and Frosti just sat there saying it is going to be me or you. It may not have worked but they should have at least given it a try. There are five people that could have benifited from splitting off

Pei-gee- People don't like her and she is on the outside. They will consider voting her off in the future so she needs to do something to change it.

Erik- He is also in the alliance without the numbers and what greatly benifit from changing it up.

Frosti- I guess the main problem with forming this alliance was he thought he was in with the other group. But he should have realized he could not just join an already strong alliance, and ifhe did hewould be one of the first ones to go once they got rid of the other alliance.

Denise- As she learned in the last tribal council, she is on the outside of her alliance. She should do something to change her position.Once it gets down to justher tribe she will likely be one of thefirst ones to go. If she does make it to the end, just because she is not a threat, she has no chance of winning agianst people like Todd, James, and Amanda.

Courtney- Although she may be the closest with Todd and Amanda, she would never beat them in the end. Also she should have done it to keep Frosti in the game and to stay tight with him.

Can't these people see that Todd, James, and Amanda have way to much power in the game. Instead of just trying to get closer to the 3 of them, they should have teamed up to get rid of them!!

Amazing Race Power Rankings: Week 2

1. Lorena and Jason- They finished first after finishing near the front last week. They did not seem to make any mistakes, they got through tasks quickly, and they worked well together.

2. Kynt and Vyxsin- They finished near the top yet again, and seem to speed through everything. There one possible flaw could be that they are not willing to get down and dirty.

3. Azaria and Handekea- The one thing that prevented them from doing well was they choose the wrong roadblock. They are physically strong and could have done the other task, hopefully they won't make choices like this in the future.

4. Jennifer and Nathan- I think they are going to be a strong team, even though they are annoying and don't work well together.

5. Shanna and Jennifer- They really stepped itup on this leg.I was suprised to see them speed through the furniture. It should be interesting to see if they can do this well next week.

6. Rachel an TK- They work well together. but I don't see them being competitive enough. Hopefully TK will do better at other tasks then he did at lifting the furniture.

7. Marianna and Julia-Afterorigonally getting lost, they did pretty well on the rest of the leg. I am still not sure if they will be able to perform as the race gets harder.

8. Ron and Christina-They are towards the end because they haven't been doing wellandRon is such a Jerkthat hewill make it impossible for their team to get along.

9. Nicolas and Donald- They haven't impressed me so far, and I am not sure if the Grandpa will be able to keep up. They had a head start in this leg of the race but they weren't able to hang on to it.

My Favorites-Lorena and Jason, Shanna and Jennifer, than Rachel and TK

Least Favorites- Ron, than Nathan and Jennifer
