Got a message from Amazon today letting me know that my Season 3 DVD of Supernatural is now on its way!! Looking forward to Monday. :D Also, i'm currently watching Chuck season 1, on episode 10 at the moment so i should be finished that by tomorrow hopefully, and then maybe watch it all again haha.

So i havent had the greatest last couple of days. Work has been, well, terrible to say the least. I think i'm maybe overworking myself trying to save up money so that i'm not skint when i start Uni next month, which by the way, i can't wait for. September 22nd can't come fast enough. However, the downside to starting Uni halfway through September, is that all my favourite shows start back around the same time - so i'm gonna have to learn to balance the amount of TV i watch with the amount of studying i do. I think i may find that pretty hard to do :)

I've had a busy couple of days working, so i've not had much activity on here, and have had no time for blogging :( I have actually developed an addiction to it, even though i don't get many comments, its still fun :D Anyhow....

Let's kick off with Chuck - my copy of season 1 should be arriving in the post tomorrow morning according to Amazon, so i am very excited about that. I can't wait to start watching the season all over again. Oh, and also i missed the very first episode when it was originally on tv (wasnt going to watch the series because of that, but i caved and ended up watching from episode 2 onwards because the show was so amazing), so i can't wait to see that episode now.

Until Chuck comes out, i've been watching lots of CSI Miami, currently im on season 2. Its really good, although not quite as good as the original, but still well worth a watch if you're into that kind of tv show.

Music wise, i've been listening to Papa Roach a lot for some reason, and also the new Rise Against song i referred to in my last blog post. Rise Against have a new song out!! It's called Re-Education (Through Labor), and it kicks ass. Gotta love this band. Go listen to it now :D

Oh and the new Chris Cornell song (Long Gone) is just plain amazing. I didn't think it was very good at first, cause it was so different from his old stuff, but after a few listens i realised just how amazing it is.

Lots of good new music coming out in the next couple of months, can't wait :D

...you buy boxsets for 2 tv series you have never watched!!

I recently decided to add to my collection of 80+ tv boxsets by ordering season 1 of The Wire, and the miniseries of Battlestar Galactica. "Madness" i hear you say? "Obsessed" i reply - i actually can;t help it. If i see a boxset of a series that i think looks quite good, and it happens to be a decent price, i just can't help myself. That's why i have such a large collection of boxsets. Anyway, hopefully they are worth it, can't wait to get stuck into them!

Yep, you guessed it - fall season is fast approaching, and with it comes a whole load of new premieres for all our favourite shows! Here's a few of the ones i'm most looking forward to, and why (in no particular order):

Heroes - after a rather disappointing season 2, the new season looks to have improved greatly, and i cannot wait until it starts - only a couple of weeks left till it starts!

Supernatural - consistently one of the best shows on tv, last season was great, but would have been better if it wasn't for the writer's strike. Now, with Dean in hell and Sam on his own, i can't wait to see what happens to everyone's favourite demon hunters.

Smallville - it's always been one of my favourite shows, and despite a below average season 7 finale (the only poor episode of the whole season, in fact), i look forward to season 8 where it seems they are finally heading towards him becoming Superman - he gets a job at the Daily Planet!!

Dexter - Wow. Just wow. This is one hell of a show, so i don't even need to give a reason for why i will be watching this. Best thing on tv.

Prison Break - I, for one, preferred season 2, when they were all on the run, as opposed to the average season 3. So, it looks like this season may be following the pattern of season 2, which is great - can't wait for this one!!

Of course, i'll be looking forward to Chuck, Lost, 24, Desperate Housewives, and Californication, however, i feel like i would be repeating myself if i gave my reasoning for watching them all. They're all such great shows.

There are, of course other shows which i would be looking forward to, if i was up to date with them. However, i am a season behind in certain shows, so that is why they have not been mentioned. These are: Bones, CSI, Scrubs, and the Sarah Connor Chronicles, all of which i intend to catch up on soon!!
