I really want a cool banner like a lot of you all have... but I'm a little unsure how to go about making one. Any help in appreciated!

I want to view my messages and it says that the inbox is empty! I know that I have two messages... but they don't show in the inbox. Why why why? If anyone has experienced this problem and knows how to fix it, TELL ME.
