My Childhood....Something I stole from Mika....

Okay, I thought I would just post a little bit about my childhood. And also, maybe a couple pictures of me as a baby. I won't post one of me now, though. That would be too personal. I don't everyone to see what I look like now. My childhood: Well, as far back as I can remember, I remember moving to my old house in Alabama. I lived there for 8 years, and I will never forget anything there. I grew up in that house, because I lived there since i was two. My family and I knew almost everyone in our neighborhood. Especially on our street. There were a few kids my age and I would always go outside and play with them. My mom and the other moms in the neighborhood would get together and play Bonco or some other kind of game for prizes and stuff. My dad would always babysit me when she went out on the "bonco" nights. As for friends, I had many of them. I knew just about everyone one my age, at my school. Heck, even my mom knew everyones mom! That's how long we lived there and went to that school and how close we were. I remember inviting all of the kids in my neighborhood and in my class to all of my birthday parties. And it was the same for my brother. Hard to believe, but I had a kind-of boyfriend. His name was Jason C. He wasn't really my boyfriend, it was kind of a childhood best guy friend thing. We used to go to each others birthday parties every year, and go to each others houses and stuff. I remember him being in my class every year i went to my elementary school, untill I moved out of the state, that is. I had a lot of girl friends too. I remember having a big slumber party and inviting all the girls from my second grade class to my house. I also remember popping popcorn, but it didnt go so well, because it got burnt! LOL! It was as black as the right side of my profile. I remember getting my first official dog. She was a Pug and I named her Dolly. Why? I have no clue. I was 7 for crying out loud! Anyways, my family and I have had other dogs before, actually three, but they didn't work out. I had Dolly for a while, but shortly after we moved we had to give her away. When we had to move to North Carolina in late 1998, I was kind of sad, yet excited at the same time. I had lived in Alabama most of my life then, but I was excited about what it would be like to live in a different state and make new friends. We moved in September of 1998 to NC, and we lived in an apartment for the first 8 months we lived in that state. We eventually found a house in Mooresville and moved there. We spent about 4 or 5 years in that house. I loved that house. I had so many friends when I changed schools and went to the elementary school there which was right across the street from my neighborhood! I eventually was old enough and moved into the middle school. My first day of 6th grade was horrible. Everything that could have gone wrong, did. Okay, heres just a few reasons that made that day one of the suckiest of my life. 1. I couldn't get my locker open 2. I couldn't find any of my classes 3. I had a huge backpack that didn't even fit in my locker. 4. I had an endless amount of homework 5. I got off at the wrong bus stop. 6. As soon as I got home, I bawled my eyes out. 7. I was just a dork! But that wasn't the only sucky day of my life. I've had a lot more. Some I will share with you, some I just choose not to because a couple are personal reasons. Anyways, eventually I got through 6th grade, and it was on to 7th. Now, 7th grade was when I started liking boys. I was like, "Oh my gosh! He's cute!" Okay, maybe not that boy crazy, but I secretly thought a couple guys were cute, I just didn't want to admit it. One of the good days of 7th grade was when I got a new puppy. A Yorkshire Terrier, whom I named Missy. She's almost 4 now. But 7th grade also had its sucky days too. I remember one in particular. I won't tell you exactly what happened, but all I will say is that that's the personal reason I was talking about. Anyhow, I got through that day, and eventually it was summer and then, time for 8th grade. 8th grade had to be one of my best years. It was the year I was getting ready to go to high school, and I was really popular that year. I knew a lot of people. It was also sad because I had moved to a new house and I was just at that school, finishing out the year there. I wouldn't be going to high school with my friends of 4 years. I got to know them really well. I remember all the snow days, and going down the street and going sledding with my friends. It was so much fun. I miss it so much. When I had to start high school at my new school, I was anxious about it at first, but then it got easier, and I slowly started to make new friends. Everyone at that school was nice and polite. It was fun sometimes. When summer came, I would go on my trip to Alaska and Oregon. I went there from June 17-July 7, 2004. It was a mission trip with my church. We had a lot of fun and helped people while we were there too. Which is always good. To be continued... This isn't all, I'll be posting more later... Here's a couple pictures of me as a baby and a little kid: Don't laugh please... That's me and my Daddy. I think I was about two in that picture.
