Yes, as the title says, now they have to come live with my family and me because of Hurricane Katrina. My mom's whole side of the family are now homeless. They lived on the east side of New Orleans, known as Chalmette, which also got the most water, unfortunately. And what's weird is, my aunt, her two kids, and my grandmother were going to stay because they didn't think it would be that bad. They left though and went to Jackson, MS I think. My Cousin and her baby went to Columbus, I think. And my other cousin went with her husband and twins to go with her dad (my uncle) and mom (my aunt) in Monroe, LA. And then there's also my other aunt who is at a hospital in MS, because she has a mental condition. I just hope everything gets better, and all of the other people affected by this storm find shelter until they are able to return and rebuild their homes. Thank God my family is all safe and sound though. I want to know, was anyone else or their relatives affected by this too? If so, leave a comment.
