Fillmore the New Engine

It is an exciting day on the Narrow-Gauge Railway. Today, Mr. Percival told the little engines that a new engine would arrive, and be part of the railway. When the new engine arrives, Rusty, Skarloey, and MightyMac are very surprised! The new engine looked exactly like Emily, but he was a boy engine. He was not the friendlyest engine either. He was a rather rude and demanding engine, who wanted to feel imortant. He ordered to Rusty to collect his coaches, and MightyMac to collect his frieght cars. Neither engines want to help, so they puff away. This leaves Fillmore VERY CROSS! As he approaches his troublesome trucks, they begin to sing, and Duncan gets worried. He warns Fillmore to be careful, and that they need to be delivered to the Wharf. Fillmore dosn't listen, so he biffs them so hard that they derail, and block not just the narrow-gauge lines, but as well as the stardard-engine lines. Down the line, Thomas, James, Molly, and Gordon all need through, but cant because of the blocked track. Fillmore feeling upset, decides it would be best to get help from the engines, and the Narrow-Gauge Controller. The other engines and Mr. Percival help Fillmore, but then after the tracks are clear, Mr. Percival decides Fillmore has learned his lesson, and gives Fillmore another job to do.

At a signal near Callian Station, Gordon figures out that Thomas is following him, and gets angry about it. Gordon tells Thomas to shunt trucks or pull Annie and Clarabel, and to leave him alone. Thomas tells him he wants to see Harry again. Gordon dosn't care! He puffs away as fast as he can. Thomas decides to leave, and to go find Annie and Clarabel. Gordon puffs into the Docks, and finds Harry waiting with his owner inside a passenger car coupled up to Harry's flat car and caboose. Gordon is proud to meet Harry, but Harry tells Gordon what to do. Gordon is very pleased to reach the Transfer Yards. Rheneas and Skarloey were waiting for Harry. At last, Harry was at the Transfer Yards, Gordon steamed away with the cars all the way back to Tidmouth Sheds. When Gordon arrived back at the sheds, he told Sir Toppham Hatt the way Harry acted.
