Hey guys!

Sorry I've been so quiet lately. I've been swamped with work and with the weather as nice as it's been, I've preferred staying outdoors with my friends when I have the occasional day off. I hope you guys aren't experiencing too much of NCIS withdrawal symptoms. Is there already a date for when CBS will start airing the new episodes? Few moths to go anyway.. bummer.

Great news everybody! I got into Uni!!! wohoo! I'm gonna start studying economics at the Univerity the 3rd of September. Andrew, Yllek and everybody else who had their exams, I hope they whent great and that you're enjoying some sort of summer holiday right now.

I don't know when I'll be online again. My compuer and tv.com, don't get along too well, which makes opening new pages on tv.com hell for me. I'm gonna try getting online more often though. Anyway, I'm not going anywhere. My mail still works and I'll respond to any PMs, it might just take a while, so please don't think I'm ignoring you. Have a GREAT summer everybody!!!

I just wanted to let you know that I'm probably not gonna be surfing online for a while. I've got the entrance test for Uni on the 11.6 and before that I've got some other entrance exams and interviews, so I'm gonna be REALLY busy studying. I'm gonna be so swamped with posts to read and fanfics to catch up with when I get back. Oh dear. See you in a week or so :)

Before I go into detail about Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, I have to be as kind as to try to brighten up your day. Okay, maybe you haven't had a bad day today, but it can always get better, right?

I found this absolutely hilarious video yesterday on you tube. You HAVE to watch it! It's 'the official Supernatural drinking game (Hardcore edition)'. See, even the name sounds just so funny, you'll have to try it out. You don't even have to drink, just watch. You don't have to be into Supernatural, it's still hilarious. Seriously, it's got to be one of the funniest vids I've seen on you tube in a loooooooooooooooong time. It's definitely worth 4 minutes and 35 seconds of your life, so go see it.. NOW.

Uhm.. That was.. Uh, how do I put it...?

What the hell just happened? I'm still.. puzzled. Did I love the film? Did I hate it? Honestly, I have no idea. I'm just so mixed up right now.

Firs of all, I LOVED 'Pirates if the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl'. It's got to be one of my favourite films of all times. 'Dead Man's Chest' movie was a disappointment to me. I guess it's cos the first one was so great. The third one... the jury is still on that one.

To say that PotC: At World's End is big is an understatement. It certainly is a spectacle. Loads of nicely done special effects, great humour (mainly cos of Johnny Depp of course) and more action than your brain can comprehend.

One thing that really threw me off was the fact that everybody was backstabbed at some point of the film. Mind that, everybody did some backstabbing too. Where's the loyalty people!? I think it's great that all the characters get a chance to shine, but when you give all of them some bigger than life mission/an own plotline, people are bound to get a bit overwhelmed. It's really difficult to watch a movie where you can't be sure of anything. I honestly can't even remember who betrayed who, at what point and to what purpose. If there's anybody who can tell me that, you're my hero!

In my humble opinion there was just too much of everything in the movie. It seems that at some point somebody just decided to include every idea anyone ever came up with in this movie. "Let's throw in some Asian guys, a sea goddess with a freaky love interest, all of the main characters' daddies, some crabs in disguise and sh*tloads of really mean Brits." "Good idea, let's do that Bucko!"

But what disappointed me the most was the ending. Why did they kill Will!!!??? I know most of you guys adore Johnny Depp in this movie, but for me Orlando Bloom is the one. I dunno why. I don't find him THAT attractive and I enjoyed watching Viggo Mortensen more in LotR, but Orli's just awesome in Pirates. I was sitting there, in my chair in the movies, thinking "NOO!! They did NOT just do that! WHYYY?" Why couldn't the writers have had Jack become the captain of the Flying Dutchman? He was obviously interested in the perks that that position would have given him. Why separate the only two people (will and Elizabeth) who've stuck together all this time and so obviously belong together? I don't get it. I would have preferred that they'd built a house somewhere and settled down and had a kid.. (Which brings me to an important point, DON'T LEAVE BEFORE THE CREDITS END. THERE'S AN EXTRA SCENE AT THE VERY END) I mean, Pirates is a Disney film after all. It did add a lot of drama though and I absolutely loved the look on Jack's face when Will got his heart pierced by the sword of Davy Jones. I'm still really bummed out that they killed Will. B*stards.

In defence of At the World's End, I have to say that where as in 'Dead Man's Chest' I really felt like I was sitting in the theatre for 3 hours, the three hours spent today watching 'At World's End' felt much shorter. It really keeps you in it's grasp and the continual surprises keep you going "wow, now ANYTHING can happen".

If you've seen the first two pirate movies, this one is a must.

If you're just randomly picking out a movie to watch on a rainy Saturday evening..... well... remember to ring your brain and if possible borrow one from a friend to be sure you'll be able to process all the information.

I'm feeling generous (even though the movie messed with my brain), so 3 stars!

Supernatural - All Hell Breaks Loose (2x22)

OH MY GOD! What an awesome episode! If I've ever said "this is the best thing ever" about anything, I'm gonna take it back sand say THIS is the best thing ever. I loved everything about this episode. The drama, suspense, action and angst. Also the brief appearance of Jeffery Dean Morgan just made my day.

Seriously, I can't stress enough how good the season finale of Supernatural was. You just have to see it for yourself. This is probably one of the most versatile episodes of Supernatural. I love the fact that the writers also work thru stuff that most shows leave blank and you only get to read fanfic about. There are some very emotionally heavy scenes in the episode that shows how deep the bond between the brothers really is. Dean sacrificing himself and selling his soul so that Sam could live was just the most touching thing ever. The plot twist that Dean now has a year before the demon comes an collects his soul is just brilliant! If he tries to get out of the deal, Sam will drop dead. Jeez, is Dean gonna tell Sam about the details of his deal or is he going to try discretely to sabotage Sam's attempts to help get Dean out of the deal? After this episode I'm even more certain that there's NOTHING Dean wouldn't do to save his little brother.

Fine acting in this ep like always. I don't know how Jensen and Jared do it, going from 'stoic, though guy' -mode' to 'I'd rather die than se you hurt + one lone tear' -mode and make it so believable. WOW! Way to go guys, you've certainly earned your bucks!

Now, with the hint of the season 3 finale, I can hardly wait for the new season to begin!

NCIS - Angel of Death (4x24)

Good ending to the season. I really liked 'Angel of death', mainly cos of the suspense. My heart was racing all thru the episode. Though maybe more cos of the anticipation of the ending, not so much cos of the story itself. I was kind of hoping that the finale was gonna be a bit more spectacular. I mean, why end the season with a story involving random drug smugglers? Or are they random? A new question unanswered.

While on the topic of unanswered questions, I'm happy Bellisario finally revealed the true relationship of Tony and Jeanne. Though I still think he's in love with her. Sorry guys. But hey now that that's settled I can sleep better during the night. What suddenly popped to my mind though was "Why did the Frog tell Trent Kort that he liked white hats (referring to Tony) after he knew that Tony's obviously been playing his daughter?" I need some fanfic here people!! Also, what's up with Gibbs? Why has he been so nice recently?

As far as the acting goes, I totally adore Michael Weatherly (seriously), but don't think this was one of his best eps so far. It's not that it was bad, just... average. Mark Harmon on the other hand was really cute especially while talking to Fornell. The scene with everybody, except Tony and Gibbs, in the pub was awesome. One of the best scenes so far. As was the scene where Ziva goes "He said he would be here" and then tells Ducky that she's worried about Tony. Cute.

The only real disappointment was the "big secret" that Jeanne is Tony's mission and that she's the Frogs daughter. The idea itself isn't half that bad, it's just a bummer that all the fans could see it coming miles away and I guess the first speculations of that Jeanne might be the Frog's daughter came up in the first third of the season.

Now all we have to do is wait 4 months for season 5 to kick off and hopefully there will be more answers and lots of tiva moments!

Let me introduce you to Fanny. Fanny is a 9 week old Wire-haired dachshund and currently enjoying the company of our two other dogs Sara (13 years) and Eva (10 years). Fanny's favourite toy at the moment is her stuffed pink hippo. In the absense of the hippo yesterday, she terrorised most of my shoes and took several pairs of socks hostage. No socks were fatally injured during the incident.

 This is gonna be another one of those crazy weekends. There's so much happening all the time!

First of all this year's Eurovison song contest is beeing held in Helsinki. We're (finns) not really that into the whole contest, cos.. well face it, it's crappy music. It's once in a lifetime thing though, right? That the contest is held here. I hope not. Guess I'd better get the most out of it just in case. People are running around the city and having a great time. There are alot of tourists and all the clubs are packed! The weather has been just great and the atmosphere is amazing! I hope they don't mess anything up in the actual broadcast.

Secondly, Finland won USA in the hockey WC semifinals today 5-4! Wohoo!! After penalty shots! Can you believe that? My hands were shaing so badly after the game that I had a hard time SMSing my mum. Only Jere Lehtinen scored. Way to go dude! Okay, nobody peobably cares but me.. But hey, it's my profile :lol: Also, the fav sport of all finns is airing this weekend.. Formula 1! You better not mess this race up Räikkönen!

If you're still reading my rambling, here's some good news. I'm done with the new TIVA vid. I'm still gonna have to add some finishing touched to it, cos I'm not completely happy with it yet. It's gonna be a bit more fast tempo than 'Fate' and the music I've used is Jamelia's 'There's something about you'. If you guys have any good suggestions for the music vid, there's still time to add some scenes in it. I'll probaly upload it to YouTube on sunday. Depending on how the weekend goes ;)

Life's great and there's nowhere else I'd rather be!

The last couple of days have been CRAZY! Friday was my birthday, saturday is always brilliant as is sunday. Monday was a day off and the eve of Vappu and tuesday was Vappu itself, a national holiday. Ok, you're probably thinking "wtf is vappu?"

Vappu is the day that working people and students celebrate. We all wear white hats that we got when we graduated high school and party all nigh and all day! Basically people get wasted all around the big cities, but students also have lots of funny games and stuff that they do the 31st of April. A few years back the students of the Univerity drew smiley faces on the green light of the traffic lights. Lost of students also make white hats for random statues and have beer drinking marathons. Older people tend to go on fancy dinners or have picnics in the parks of Helsinki. Parents buy their kids helium balloons and some people wear funny costumes and masks just for the fun of it.

This Vappu was especially great, cos I graduated from high school last spring, so this was the first time I wore a white hat. On sunday the students of technology at the University of Helsinki threw the greatest party ever and me and my friends where there all the way. I found myself going "Good thing you never took up drinking" when my car was full of passed out friends. Only me (good thing cos I was the driver) and another friend were awake at the end of the car ride. I can't believe that the same people who were passed out in my car at 5AM where at the park the next morning at 10AM going "HEY! Great party last night!" That's finnish stamina! :lol:

All in all a great weekend and to top it all off I saw the new NCIS ep earlier today!  WOHOO!!

Yayy!! I finally finished the NCIS cast video that I've been working on for about a month now. It's basically just a look behind the scenes of the show. I tried including all actors, but there's unfortunately about zero footage on David McCallum and not that much on Sean Murray either, so there's alot of Mark, Pauley, Cote and last but certainly not least Michael. The man is EVERYWHERE! I LOVE him! lol.

I had a hard time getting my hands on all the behind the scenes footge I wanted to include in the video. Huge thanks to cptfranken and nono over on youtube for helping me out on that!
