Has everyone ever noticed that Canadian cartoons are a little controversial and unique. Or maybe it's just me. There are some episodes that are controversial; take Stupid Over Cupid for example; in one scene the gay cowboy putting a bid on Jonesy. Okay, I had to admit, it did crack me up.

Powerpuff Girls Z
Like the California Roll, this show some of the characters are little western but with a J-pop touch. I bow to the geniuses who made this show possible. If you are reading this Yoshiya Ayugai, Mark Buhaj, Hiromi Seki, Hideo Katsumata, Hiroyuki Kakudou, and Miho Shimogasa, Domo Arigato (thank you). :D

T*witches
Magic spells and talismans and other wonderful things make this movie come alive. Oh how I wish to be a witch; be able to fly, make things disappear and re-appear, the power of invisibility, morphing, controling fire, water, earth, and wind, opening portals to travel to other world and so many abilities. Oh how wonderful it would be. :)

Xiaolin Showdown

Xiaolin Showdown
One of the greatest shows I ever watched. Christy Hui is a genius and a brilliant artist. It has everything; martial arts, eastern magic, culture, action, adventure, etc. I was said when Kids WB removed it from their line up, but I was happy when Cartoon Network aired on their program. The they removed it too.
At least some online video websites were kind enough to show some of the episodes. But I do miss watching them on the so called big screen. Too bad Christy Hui didn't have the time to make a movie based on Xiaolin Showdown. I bet that would been really cool.
Art - food for the soul

Art
I find that art is a way to express our feelings and the way we see th world. We feed on art to stimulate our imagination. It is the foundation of various types of media. Without art we wouldn't have Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, Vincint Van Gough's Starry Night, and animation like the brand new series the Monster Buster Club. 07-04-2008
