Yikes! The time has flown!

Yikes! I just realized it has been over a year since I've posted a blog! Where has the time gone? My life is mostly consumed by university classes and activities. We've just finished mid-semester exams, which is always a relief! Once again I've managed to survive to the halfway point of the fall term! There was a short fall recess after exams, but now I am back in class.

The weather is starting to cool down and the leaves are changing color. As much as I would enjoy living in a climate that doesn't have extreme temperatures in summer and winter, I would miss experiencing all four seasons. Of course one of the best parts of fall is the return of new episodes for all of my favorite tv shows! :) Clearly I am spending as much free time as possible watching new episodes!

NCIS season premier (Non-spoilerish, pure speculation)

In next fall's season premier of NCIS I am most curious to see how the team realizes that Ziva is in trouble. These are the possible options that I see:

1. Gibbs- I don't see him being the one to find out. He said he will wait for Ziva to change her mind and come back, so I doubt he will search for information about her.

2. Tony- Now Tony, I Can see searching the internet, attempting to track her phone, questioning any of his contacts that he believes may have information.

3. McGee, Abby, & Ducky- Like Gibbs, I can't see them being the ones to discover that she is in trouble. Although they are all upset that she has left, I think they would all just let her have space to think. Of course, I could see Tony coming to them for help to track her; and they would all gladly help.

4. Leon Vance- I don't know what to think about him. He seems pretty confident in Eli David. I think the only way he would get involved would be if Eli discovered Ziva was in trouble and asked for help. And I absolutely do not see this happening! Eli would not need NCIS' help when he already has the entire Mossad under his direction.

5. Trent Cort or Agent Fornell- Either could be possibilities. Options could include the CIA or FBI having undercover agents among the kidnappers; The kidnappers contact CIA/FBI requesting some sort of ransom in return for an American Agent; the CIA/FBI intercept some sort of intelligence about an American Agent being captured, they eliminate all their agents as possibilties and start searching other agencies i.e. NCIS.

I don't know if any of these are actually likely to occur, and as the title says, none of this speculation is based on spoilers of any kind. :D

Spoiler Free!

As of today, June 23, 2009 I will be spoiler free. :D I tried this out earlier this year, and did quite well staying away from the spoiler threads for about 10 weeks. Of course, all of my favorite shows then had to air cliff-hangers as season finales! Which led me to frantically seach through the spoiler threads for hints as to how each plot would be resolved. But as of today, I am resisting the urge to read new spolers.

I am allowing myself to watch any promo/previews shown on television as well as speculate possible outcomes based on episodes that have already aired. But I will not read spoiler threads or seach for spoilers on the internet. :? At least, I will try very hard not too! :D

Before when I was avoiding spoilers, I found that I quite enjoy watching new episodes with very few expectations of what is happening in each one. Plus, I don't have to be disappointed when spoilers aren't true. I'll try to keep everyone updated, on whether or not I've followed this decision. The hardest part will definitely be making it through the rest of the summer with no new episodes! :D

Me Sick = New TV Addictions

A few years ago when I was home, sick for several days, fate incredibly intervened and I ended up watching several episodes of the various CSI's. Of course, before I was feeling well enough to return to normal life, I was hopelessly addicted to them.

This last spring was the next time that I was miserably ill for several days, and I found myself becoming addicted to yet another television show, NCIS. My family seems to think it is strange that I now religiously watch 3 CSI's, Law & Order SVU, and NCIS (I haven't told them that next fall I'll also be tuning into NCIS: Los Angeles. :D ). But yes, I now love NCIS, I love the humor and the character interactions and how each character has a relatively well-developed personality. I can't believe it has been on tv for several seasons and I have just now decided to watch it. Luckily for me, the cable networks show reruns every day, so now I can spend the summer getting caught up on all the episodes I've missed.

So far I've watched all of the "Must-see Episodes" like Kill Ari I & II, Judgement Day i & II, Hiatus I & II, Bete Noire, Reveille, Dead Man Walking, most of season 6. But the best part is that even the "regular" episodes are fantastic! I can't wait to see what happens in season 7! :P

Wonderful times while I've been away

Hello Everyone! I feel like I've been away for ages and should probably introduce myself again. :P Once again my homework, exams, etc. have been keeping me away. I'm pretty sure there was a solid three weeks when I didn't have time to watch my shows or post on here. :( Luckily, I managed not to have a nervous breakdown and have finally caught up watching past episodes. I am very disappointed that while I was away I was missing so much! Hiphuggers, and M&M's, and Alex returning to SVU! So here's a little of my thought from the time I was gone:

Me: I'm finally done with exams for the time being. Spring is starting to arrive which makes me happy. :) Today my window is opened for the first time in ages!

My shows: My Hiphuggers are finally together on CSI Miami! I am ecstatic! But furiously hoping TPTB won't mess it up somehow.

I'm looking forward to the D/L baby arriving on CSI: New York. I could care less if it is boy or girl as long as it is healthy. I loved the D/L wedding! It was so cute and fitting, especially Mac and Stella being at the courthouse.

I surprised myself by continuing to enjoy CSI since Grissom left. It still feels kind of weird with him gone, but I do like the new characters. I think we need a few good episodes where the entire team works together and we can learn some background story on Riley and Langston.

Alex is back!!! :D :D :D I have been looking forward to this for so long! Alex is awesome, although I think it is a bit strange that she hasn't really talked to Elliot or Olivia yet. Outside of work, that we've seen anyway.

ok, hopefully I'll be able to post more often from now on, but no promises  it will depend on my homework situation.

Yay!! I'm almost done!!

Just popping in to say hi! I've been absent from the forums for the last couple of weeks while studying for final exams. I'm almost done, though! Just one more test and it's time for vacation!!

Three cheers for procrastination!!!

This has been a pretty crazy week for me. I'm in the middle of taking midterms, I have a couple of papers due before Friday, and I need to finish reading The Odyssey. And yet I'm still on here :D It might actually be a good thing there is no new CSI:New York episode this week  or else I would be procrastinating even worse! :) The good news is that next week is fall break and I don't have class! :D :D :D I'm so excited! And all of my favorite shows have new episodes next week! Everyone have a good week!

TV plans

Wow, I definitely need to post something new! It's been almost 4 months since my last blog. I don't know what to talk about right now. I should be writing a paper or studying for my psycholgy test, but I'm procrastinating. :P Well, these are the shows I'll be watching every night! Yea for fall and new episodes!! :D Monday CSI: Miami Tuesday Law & Order SVU Wednesday Private Practice CSI: New York Thursday Grey's Anatomy CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Sunday Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Severe Weather Alert!

I was looking forward to catching up on some CSI episodes this summer that I missed the first time they aired. Unfortunately, in the past three weeks, 6 of the 9 episodes that usually air on CBS weren't broadcast in my area. :cry:My DVR is currently full of severe weather alerts. Almost every evening we have had severe weather, so our 'previously scheduled programmind' is covered by 'Instant News Alerts!' :o

This has made me wonder why CSI doesn't use weather events more often. Maybe they do use it frequently, and I just haven't noticed! :oops:Vegas has had a few episodes with floods and heat related deaths. Miami had one hurricane and a tsunami. New York has rain and snow. Has New York ever had a severe blizzard or ice storm? Why doesn't Miami have more hurricanes or even just rain? Doesn't Florida usually have at least one or two hurricanes a year? Vegas could have an storyline with a severe drought or an earthquake. (Do they have frequent earthquakes in Vegas?:?)

O.K. one more question. Do any of the three cities have tornados? I don't think any of them do, but I'm just currious!

Hopefully someone will be able to answer my questions! :D

My first Blog post!

Ok. This is my first blog post. This is one of my favorite poems. I didn't write it, and I don't know who did, but all credit goes to them.

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
Love the people who treat you right.
Forget about the ones who don't.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said life would be easy.
They just promised it would be worth it.
Special People are like balloons.
Once you let them go, you can't get them back.:)
