I witnessed a miracle yesterday afternoon. It happened to me: I was walking to mail a letter at the post office, and I had to cross the street. There were no cars coming, so of course, I started to walk across. When I'm halfway there, a car comes speeding down the street. I almost didn't see it coming. I just saw it from the corner of my eye and was in shock because I thought that I wasn't gonna make it (the car was going about 50-60 mph in the city). I started to try and walk again, and suddenly, I'm on the ground across the street. I don't even know how I got on the ground, seeing that I didn't fall or anything. When I got up, I saw that both my knees and hands were badly cut, and also, I had a bruise on my face. It was so weird. Later, I heard on the news that a car hit a person and that person is now in a coma (the person who was hit, not the driver). Then I find out that it was just a block away from where I was almost hit. I'm thinking, "That could've been me!!" Now when I think about it, I think that either God or an angel pushed me out of the way of that speeding car. I'm so thankful now that I only got a few scratches and I'm okay.
