My dad finished the 3rd story of our house today, so Bryant and I are going to begin living up there tonight. At first, it was going to be just me up there, but Bryant's mom wanted him to be there with me, now, but for sure when the baby came, becuase she didnt want me getting my parents involved everytime I needed something, because when adults plan this kind of thing, they work as a team, so that's how Bryant and I are going to be. Also, Bryant has his license, so he can drive himself to school, which is good, becuase he was going to live with his grandma, but she lives like, 35 mintues from his school, and we live 10 minutes away, so its a lot closer for him.
This is what my house layout is:
1st Floor: Kitchen, Living Room, Family Room, Office, Bathroom, Josh & Lauren's room when they come to stay with us
2nd Floor: Master Bedroom/Bathroom, My old Room, Jeff's Room, Christina's room, Bathroom
3rd Floor: Me and Bryant's Bedroom, Bathroom, Chase's Bedroom, Kitchen, Little Family Room
The people who owned our house before we did rented out the 3rd floor, so its like a second house up there. My old room is becoming our exercise room, and my mom's sewing room. My dad stayed home all week trying to get it done for me. He's been so nice about this whole situation. He painted all the rooms upstairs too. Now, the upstairs is like this:
When you come up the stairs, you go into the family room, which is this like, light tan color, with a tv and two couches. Then you turn right, and you go into the kitchen, which is kinda lightish green, like mint color. Next to the kitchen is the bathroom, which is white and blue. Like, royal blue. Then, is me and Bryant's room, which is light blue and the same tan from the family room. Its really pretty, Bryant and I picked the colors ourselves. We took the bed from my room into there, because I had a queen size. We got a new bedspread though, its blue and brown striped, we got it fromTarget. Finally, Chase's room is adorable. It has green walls, and all the furniture is light wood color.
I can't wait to live up there. It going to be so nice being able to be a little more independant, but still hae my parents there if we need them.
OH!! I forgot to tell you, but on Thursday, I GOT MY LICENSE!!!!!! The only problem, is that I wont be able to drive Chase around for about 7 monthes, because in california, you cant drive a minor around until you have had your license for a year. But, Bryant will be able to drive him and me around in September, so thats only 3 months after Chase will be born. So, we will only have to rely on my parents for 3 months. Thats okay, we can deal with that.
