there are many tv- series at the moment, which seem to be highly politically motivated. Shows like true blood or weeds question the ideological belief, crash is thematising injustice in modern societies and dexter - well - that's a case of it's own. but these shows don't seem to be that different from shows like californication or chuck, for example. shows which do not seem to be political, but creating a world where the sleazy men and nerds take over the world.

this is quite refreshing than most of that ideological hollywood junk (which i still like). especially that charming and unpretentious way of chuck and pushing daisies, where you'll be part of a world, full of beauty, peace (well, more or less) and togetherness, seems quite like the place to be, comparing to reality...
