Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton???

I regret that I haven't been keeping up with my presidential hopefuls recently and I have many mixed emotions on who I will be voting for. I will definitely vote Democrat but that's all I'm sure about so far.

I am a woman, a black woman, and I identify with both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. The Clintons in the past, have reigned over the US during a time when the economy was booming and everyone was satisfied.Over the last few years though, it seems as if Hillary has been playing the game harder than any man in office has ever done. She seems as if she can be a flip-flopper and out to appease those who can better her career. I respect what she has done and accomplished in the recent years but is she ready for the big house? I don't know. She seems to have great agendas, but I don't know if she'll be able to get the respect from other countries, our allies, and even our own government. I hope to see her willing to say what she means and not say what sounds good.

Barack Obama, on the other hand, kind of just appeared and has this charisma that makes people want to hear what he has to say. I admit, I was afraid that the American public wasn't ready for a black president, but he's been doing really well in getting his ideas out there and attracting all types of voters. He doesn't seem like he has been stained by politics yet like the other candidates but that may be a downfall. I read his agenda and I believe he has the best plan, thus far, on how to get America back on track after this disaster we've had with this president. I hope that his inexperience or seemingly innocent nature doesn't become his downfall.

I am sick and tired of worrying about whether or not I'll be able to retire, I'm tired of paying all my hard earned money to health insurance companies, and I'm really terribly sick of the price of gas amongst other commodities. This war was a mistake from the beginning and I'm ready for our troops to come home and live their lives instead of endangering them for something that was a lie. I wish we could've impeached the Bush/Cheney clan a long time ago because so many things have gone wrong with them in office. I just don't know what will happen but I'm certainly ready for change.

People complain about everything!!!

I work customer service in a bank and I have to admit, it has made me a lot smarter. I have acquired money management skills, people skills, and anger management, among other things. I have noticed by working at a bank how much people complain on a daily basis. For example, I work on a team of 14-15 people who combined take about 23,000 calls a month. About 75-80% of the calls are complaints about things that people bring on themselves. I then got on a consumer message board called ripoffreport.com just to confirm that it's not only our bank that receives complaints. Just about every company in existence receives complaints. I admit, a lot of customer complaints are valid; those relating to fraud/identity theft, defective productsand whatnot. But for someone to complain about Walmart changing the price of something from $.99 to $1.46 is ridiculous. I am the type of person that if I don't like the business practices of an organization, I simply don't use them anymore. I don't go on a website to complain about things thatI bring upon myself. I'm not forced by a company to do anything I don't want to do so why do people feel like they're the victim all the time? Some people never take responsibility for themselves and it's sickening. I just noticed that I complained about people's complaints. Its infecting me!

My point for being here

I have always been a huge TV fan, mainly because my mom was so overprotective of me and I didn't have many friends where I lived. Just me and my brother. From a young age, I was always into comedies, family shows, and horror flicks. The scary movies probably contributed to the loss of my innocence at a young age, but hey, it's either that or some troubling life experience. I lost my love for TV when I started getting of age to go out and party, but got it back when I got sick of the party life and was ready to settle down and have a family. As you can see by my favorites, I have quite a list of things that I loved to watch on a regular basis, some of which I can't wait to share with my children as my mom did with me. Some of the shows have identified with my family life like Roseanne, Fresh Prince, and Living Single. Some of the shows have helped me to understand the harsh realities of life such as The Wire, Law and Order, and Oz. I have started to become a TV junkie since becoming a stay-at-home mom and have found myself watching more programs that I would've never watched in the past. I mean come on, Flip this House? That is my show but I could've never been interested in that @ 18 years old. Well, I'm starting to ramble so I feel like I've said enough about my TV background. It's getting stronger as the days pass and I stay at home for 12-18 hours a day. Well see when they have TVJUNKIE for me to register on. :D
