Sharpay opened her eyes and looked up at the ceiling. Today was the big day. The day that Troy left for UCLA and she left for Cornish College of the Arts. She got out of bed and slipped on the re dress her mother had picked out to wear under her graduation gown. She slipped on her diamond necklace Troy had got her for her birthday and teh matching ring he had given her on Prom night. His words replayed in her head, 'I love you Sharpay, I don't care if we're married for five minutes or fifty years, I just know I want to spend the rest of my life with you.' Then he had slipped the ring on her finger and promised that as soon as they graduated from college they would get married and start a family, the problem was Sharpay didn't know if she could wait that long. She walked to her closet and took her red high heeled shoes. She looked at the collage on her night stand that consisted of pictures of her and Ryan when tehy were five and right before every performance, and on their first day of kindergarten.
"Sharpay, you need to wake up." her mother yelled up the stairs.
"I'm already up mom!"
"Come and eat!" Sharpay walked down the stairs slowly.
"I'm having brunch with Troy."
"Honey, you're leaving tomorrow can't you have brunch with us?"
"I can't Troy's leaving right after the ceremony."
"Fine, go ahead."
"By mom." She grabbed her purse and ran out the door to her car and slowly drove to Troy's house.
"Hey Troy." Sharpay said planting a kiss om his lips.
"Hey Sharpie." he said kisseng her ear. "How much perfume did you put on? You smell like pink sugar!"
"Sorry for trying to smell nice the day my life will change forever."
"You're forgiven." He said leaning her back and kissing her again.
"I love you Troy."
"Love you too. I can't wait til we get married, and get to start a family."
"I know." They walked to the table and ate their brunch. Then they left so they could get to school.
"Troy Bolton." Troy walked up to the front of the gym, took his diploma, moved the ribbon to teh other side of his hat and flashed a hangloose sign. "Sit down Mr. Hotshot." The Principle went through the list. "Sharpay Evans." She took a deep breath and walked up to the front of the gym and took her diploma and switched the side of her ribbon. On the way back to her seat Troy took her hand and squeazed it. Everyone's name had been called and everyone tossed their hats up in the air.
"Bye Troy."
"Bye Sharpay." They hugged tightly and went their seprate ways both with tears in their eyes and a wish in their heart.
