Emmy-nominated Jon Avnet will direct and executive produce a mini series called The Starter Wife based on Gigi Levangie Grazer's novel of the same name, which is the New York Times best-seller in 2005.Starring Debra Messing, this project is about a divorcee who struggles to get her life together after messy divorce and redefines herself in the show business world.
