Yeah so it's been about 14 months since my last blog post. Oopsie. Lots of interesting new developments in my interesting new life as an AMV maker... the New York Comic Convention will be showcasing my Avatar video "Remember the Name" at the Avatar panel. Cool huh?

In other news... my new video has received 73,000 views in less than 2 weeks. That's about 5,000 more than my previously most popular video received in 5 months. I guess people really like it!

Ok, about me... I have a new beta-obsession. See, for the past yearish, it's been Avatar 90% of the time, but every now and then I find a new infatuation that I must balance with my Avatarian duties. I've gone through quite a few since my last blog post, I expect the details would bore you.

Got my license, btw, since my last blog is complaining about Drivers' Ed. I'll have had it for a year next week. Got a car last June, totalled it by September. Not my fault, I'd like to make that clear. NOT MY FAULT. I'm a completely competant driver, and the fact that I'm 17 and a girl should not suggest that I can't drive. The woman in front of me slammed on her breaks around a sharp turn, because a squirrel had jumped out onto the road. I rear-ended her, and had to pay the damages to her bumper AND buy a new car because the school busses don't come to my town anymore. This is why I'm a slave to my part-time job as a cashier, I'm still struggling to pay it off. Oh, and she hit and killed the squirrel anyway. What a wonderful afternoon that was.

So, if anything else of interest comes up, I'll be happy to share. I wonder how many people bother checking this page anymore since it's obvious I don't update. We'll see if I get any replies!

I had my first drivers' ed class yesterday, and I'm pretty sure we need a new child labor law prohibiting it. I go to school for 6 1/2 hours NOT INCLUDING the 45 minute bus ride there and back (my town doesn't have its own high school).

THEN, 3 times a week, I get to spend 3 MORE HOURS in a classroom with a recovering drug addict for an instructor (no joke), and listen to her monologue about how if you value your left knee cap, you'll turn only when the base of your windshield is on the edge of the opposite side of the street. I'm still not quite sure what I did in to deserve this.

This has been my rant of the day. Fin.

Yeah. I've never had my own "blog" before, so I'm just winging this here. I here that blog is short for "web log", but that's not much of a help. What exactly am I logging?

People like to talk about what level they're on in their blogs. I'm a level 2, which is so nicely titled "sweat hog". I'm not usually that sweaty. But whatever. I dream of the day I become a Soup Nazi cuz I love Seinfeld and that's one of my favorite episodes (yeah, it is for the rest of the world too).
