The rumors of Pirates 4 continue. today AICN has posted an update saying the movie will be coming in 2011. Their scooper says;

In regards to PIRATES, two dramatically conflicting assessments about how a fourth film might be approached have been making the rounds. Some indications suggest the film's story would be far more contained than its predecessors, allowing for a budget-friendly downsizing.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, there's been unsubstantiated talk that a fourth film would go the other way completely...think in terms of ultra fantastical (dinosaurs, Jules Verne-esque floating fortresses, etc.) Not sure how I feel about either notion, to be honest. Not sure if I even care to see a fourth PIRATES film at all.

Lets all feign shock that after three great money making movies, that a 4th is in the pipes. Go read the entire scoopers report on AICN. The first two films were genius. The third one was alot of fun but overall really didnt do much for me. A new 4th movie that focuses squarely on Captain Jack? That works just dandy for me!

It was reported after J.K Rowling had finished the book that before it was published she had told the three teenage stars parts of the book.

"I told all of them little bits, [but] I told Emma Watson the most," Rowling said of the actress who plays Hermione Granger, who in the seventh novel finally gets her romantic moment with Ron Weasley. "She nearly fell off the chair laughing when I told her who she had to kiss."

"But if it's faithful to the story she has to kiss both of them," Rowling added, indicating Harry as well as Ron. "Which I think is kind of funny."

CinemaBlend got word from a scooper that "Pirates of the Caribbean 4" is definitely on and will focus more on Johnny Depp's character, Jack Sparrow. The scooper also added that Johnny Depp will definitely return for a fourth installment, but so will Geoffrey Rush and director Gore Verbinski.
