I've been sadly disappointed with the newest episode 'Honor among Thieves'.  I was expecting quite a lot, given that I was hoping that we'd get a) insight into Emily's character b) a good storyline and c) some kind of reaction out of Reid, who is still in a bit of a limbo in terms of his storyline.  We of course got nothing out of this episode.  It's rare that there's an episode I dislike, but even rarer that there is an episode i find awful.  This was one.  Nothing happened.

It was terrible timing for me personally to have such a bad episode.  I'm in exam season right now, and I had an exam the day after the new episode aired.  I knew I should have been studying but i decided to block the time for that episode as one of my only breaks for the day so it'd be okay taking off that much time.  So I studied up until then and was super excited that I was able to see the new episode, and after it was over I was stunned.  I blocked out my day just for that?  I would've liked seeing a rerun better.

However, I am confident that criminal minds is just having an off week and I'm sure that the next episode up will be back to their normal high standard.
