The future of Saturday Night Live...

Well, it is the end of January 2007 and what has become of this television show of 30+ year stature. Of course friends, I am talking about Saturday Night Live. You know, 32 years ago, it was unheard of that a late night sketch comedy show could be live, let alone a ratings win. But, now we know better. This marvel of comedic genius does has it's ups & downs (much to be argued by critics and 40+ something's alike in that no one compared to Belushi, Aykroyd & Radner), but yet, every season comes full of surprises and great sketches that are STILL water cooler convo on Monday morning! 2006 saw, for the very first time (they said it would never be done, too many lisensing and music rights to clear!), but Saturday Night Live : The Complete First Season was finally released in December. I am awaiting my copy shortly and will be in awe no doubt at what started as a monologue with comedian George Carlin. ("Talk about a live show!") The future of SNL looks bright indeed. Ups, downs, happiness & tragedy (RIP alums) -- Saturday Night Live will not be beaten and has a while before it comes to a close. Thanks for listneing and be sure to visit my NEW website.

And yet...another time in my life.

Well, friends, the time has come YET AGAIN! It is February of 2006 and my wife and I have decided that Florida just wasn't the option we had in mind. So it's on back to New York State for us, Schenectady, NY that is. We are coming back to the state that made SNL famous and the state of our home. In April, we will be moving back to the oh so familiar territory that we once knew. Also, SNLRA.com is launching in the middle of this month! A truly exciting day for yours truly, seeing as how I have waited for over 7 years for my own domain, and now it becomes a reality! On February 15th, 2006 - I will launch http://www.snlra.com into the World Wide Web and with it the same quirky know-how and info on SNL you have all come to love for the better half of the decade. I want to thank you all for reading along with this and hope you visit real soon. Benjamin LeBaron

It's time...

August 25th... Well, my friends, it is time. I am getting married on September 3rd, 2005. It had to happen and I couldn't be happier! My fuel for Saturday Night Live and it's reruns on NBC & E! are still insatiable (don't correct the spelling!) as ever! I have been a 13 year fan and continue to be. The website is just as fresh as when it first was back in 1997! (Can we actually say that like it was THAT long ago? I think we can!) Thanks to all who visit, and hey, I appreciate every kind word given to me (I have a young lady who has bookmarked my site for 2 years and still keeps coming back for more! Take care!
