So yesterday I went to my local Gamestop and picked up my pre-ordered PS3 Slim. Got it for 299 euro total and came with a free used game. I got Red Faction Guerrilla which would have been 40 euro outside of the deal. :)

I took it home and set it up and I gotta say it looks WAY better in real life than in the pictures. The matte finish feels great and leaves no fingerprints behind and also doesn't attract as much dust as my old Fat PS3.

One problem about it is that it gets a bit hot at times at the back, a bit hotter than my old Fat model, but I'm just gonna stick with it because I trust Sony with their hardware reliability. It is definitely quieter than my old Fat model by the way. Even when there is a disc inserted it's quiter.

If any of you are wondering what I did with my old PS3 It's in my brothers room. I gave it to them so they won't bug me to play PS3 all the time like they were. :x

So anyway here are two pictures of the Slims box and the actual console.

Really small box compared to the older one and much easier to pack everything into the box as well if you were taking your PS3 anywhere.

Isn't it beautiful. :D

Oh ya and I'm going back to school Friday unfortunately. :( At least I'll have two more days of freedom playing my Slim. :P

So after years of loyalty (From the N64 to the Wii) I've finally given up on Nintendo. Up against Sony and Microsoft they don't really have a chance (Well in my mind anyway).

All this 3rd party casual crap on the Wii is just horrible! The Wii could have been every Nintendo fans dream if only they'd have put some more Hardcore titles. Even if they did though I'd doubt I'd still stick with them.

I dunno maybe I've just grew out of their games. I kinda think they're a bit too childish for me to be playing at 15 years of age. All the GameStop credit I'd make out of my games is another factor in selling it.

So anyway I'm selling my Nintendo stuff and getting a 360. After seeing E3 yesterday I've decided I need to get a 360!

I really miss Halo and having Sky, Facebook, Twitter, A great online marketplace, and that amazing Project Natal won me over in the end against the Wii's dodgy controls, Crappy childish games and Lag filled online.

I even have a space picked out for it next to my PS3! :)

So ya that's what's happening with me at the moment. Post any comments you might have but please dont bash me over not liking Nintendo anymore.
