W00T!

I just scored my first ever birdie in our last round of golf! It was quite possible the greatest hole I have ever played. 455 yards, par 5, river that you have to carry to reach the green. A beautiful drive with my five wood aroudn 230 yards. Then the mother of all carries over the river, 200+ yards away, to land 50 feet to the right of the green (had quite a scare as it went through several trees, my aim was off). But then as I saw it sitting there, I almost screamed with joy. Follow that up with a perfect chip to 6 feet from the hole, and nail the putt, and suddenly this horrible, demanding, aganizing excuse for a game has just bought me for another year.

God I hate this game. :)
