Hey.. I kinda have the same question, although mine is money related. I want to get my 3 year old son a handheld and don't want to spend a lot.. so I figure that the DS would be getting cheap because of the 3DS coming out. So should I get him a DS now? Is the price going to drop? How much should I look at spending?

Anyone? It just won't come off the top of the processor chassis. :(

My old cooling system (Master Cooler liquid cooling system) is making a ton of noise and I believe has stopped working. I am stuck as to how to take off the pink piece (I believe the cooler) that is attached to my processor. Take a look at this picture of a similar model of the one I have.

Notice the pink piece with the two tubes? That goes on top of the processor and it is what I need to take off. It doesn't look like it is screwed in or anything, and I already removed the 4 screw metal clamp that holds it into place. It isn't budging so I am not sure how to take it off. Is there some little lever or something? Do I have to take out the processor? I notice some pins

My CPU fan needs replacing, but I don't want to take out my motherboard and mess anything up. Some of the cooling fans say that you will need to take out the motherboard to install the fans, but some don't. Does anyone know any cheap/good CPU fans that would just snap in without a need for taking out the motherboard. I have narrowed it down to a cooling fan for a LGA 775 to work with an Intel Core 2 Duo.

I also have a cooling system added into my system (I got it premade). The cooling kit has tubes going into the processor and I am not sure if going for a new cooling fan will affect that. Would I just take out the cooling fan? I am not sure how to get it to connect to the new cooling fan.

Anyone have an opinion on which one I should get? I'm really looking for a new online FPS to play... I've played BF 2142 before... but ET looks good.

I've had a lot of trouble playing the game, but the times I actually got in I was loving it. btw: funny to see a fellow Quake 2 lover. It was my very first multiplayer FPS experience and it still ranks amongst one of my highest. I think the weapons and level design were much better than in Quake 3. _Pedro_

Last night the queue was 40 deep, no lag, no crashes...

But ya, I can remember hosting my own server and my friend connecting via my IP addy, and we would play quake 2 COOP. SO much fun!

OOOH! And remember the AMAZING mods? Action Quake? Quake 2 Lithium? Weapons Factory? Jailbreak? CTF mods?

I totally agree about the weapons and maps in quake 2. I am not a fan of the q3 submachine gun, lightning gun, ooze shooter or the electric ball fast gun. Gimme a q2 railgun, rocketlauncher and shotty over any of those guns.

Has anyone tried out quake live? I was a huge quake 1 2 & 3 fan back in the day and playing for the first time since.. god knows when... was AWESOME.

The weapons are balanced, the gameplay is lightning fast and the maps are awesome. It really made me appreciate how much I love PC gaming... it also made me realize how bad I have become at FPS's.

I am glad new gamers will get to try out FPS gaming at it's finest. (although quake 2 is the better quake, quake 3 is still great)

Dude I feel ya! I've been listening to KLSX since the talk format took over. I love the station, especially Frosty, Heidi and Frank and the Tim Conway Jr. show. This station has been a part of my daily life since I was 18 yrs old and I'm pushing 31 now.

I think I'm going to be subscribing to satelite radio since there will be nothing interesting left on regular radio stations at this point. (Just what we need another top 40 station in LA :evil: )

Kills me to see these guys go.

I guess the bottom line is that the company who writes the checks are looking to cut costs. Sad.. but hopefully they will be picked up by another station. I am about to listen to FH&F's last show in a few minutes... I hope they just get totally **** faced and make the FCC cringe.
